Surely the Consumer Act (Sale of Goods Act) covers such a part? What age is the dryer?

Beware of AEG poor reliability though - 4th from bottom on Tumble Drier reliability according to Which? Only a shade above Hotpoint, which says it all.

Since AEG was taken over it no longer produces the sort of quality it used to be well known for. Now more a brand to avoid than recommend.

Do you mind me asking asking were the best. We started getting which in blues which was the month after the tumble dryer test and mum's had just gone boom

Even worse than the poor reliability, you have to deal with the Service agents - "Serviceforce" You only thought you have had bad service until you need to use them! Plan on lots of days sitting at home waiting, and having plenty of wet washing, for weeks and weeks..
Afraid this even applies to AEG/Electrolux/Zanussi products bought from John Lewis, and to products they sell with teh John Lwsi label made by that group

I've just looked at the reliability tables... 76% of owners were fault free after 10yrs. I'll take those odds.

Though the machines they're assessing the reliability of are unlikely to share too many components with anything bought today?

Anyway, I ordered one OP. Thanks. I had ordered a Beko from Currys yesterday with a 10% off code, but I cancelled that.

Worth a try IMO. I received £120 from Tesco towards the repair of a 2.5 year old TV (part cost me £10). Will be easier if you purchased from a retailer aware of SoGA (ie not Currys).

Do Apple recognise this soga to fixed duff iPhone battery
