Which reviewed it on Apr 2019 and scored it as high or higher then any of the miele C3 vacuums but I've only ordered it tonight for delivery on Friday. It's replacing a miele cat & dog that was an excellent vacuum.
I have bought a bagless Aeg vacuum cleaner from Ao a month ago. I would assume there is not a big functional difference between these 2 models . Mine haw ''A'' performance on carpets and hard floors. It is really strong and I have to use it on minimal suction sEtting when vacuuming carpets otherwise it lifts them up and you can't move it.

So I assume it is good, on the other hand it cant pick up some visible hair and threads from a carpet in one of her rooms. But that carpet has also been tricky to vaccum with other vacuum cleaner too. So may be it is carpets fault.

Thanks the replies the Mrs wants an upright to glide over the carpets more
I currently have a Miele vacuum around 3000watts which I managed to damage. I bought this as a replacement, it arrived next day excellent service by AO. The vacuum is a lot lighter, however the quality is nowhere near that of the Miele. It has a cheap plastic handle that just pushes into an extendable metal pipe. The Miele has clips to hold it in place and rounded edged (better quality finish). So be under no illusion this is a cheaply made vacuum. I tried some side by side vacuuming and the AEG even with its 700watt motor is a LOT more powerful, at max its almost impossible to push on carpet (had to dial the power down to just under half way). It appears that the newer AEG is a lot more efficient and effective at cleaning both carpet and hard-floors than my older Miele is. The biggest issue I have is the dust bag on the Miele has a flap that closes when not in use to keep the dust and whatever inside the bag (sealed), the AEG does not have this and as such the bag is open. If the AEG was tipped upside down dust & rubbish would just fall back out. The AEG has a 2yr warranty, it seems to be a great vacuum overall though (excellent value for money) and hopefully it will last the course.

thanks for the review, but I'm a bit confused, is this for the AEG from this deal, because you keep mentioning a Vax?

Apologies, I have a Vax as well, I meant to say AEG, I've updated the comment.
What bags does this take been looking for bags before I buy it but theres so many and even when I search the model number it's showing me bags for different modles.
