Hot deal, but generally the cheapest flights end up being £14.99 per person one way, reason:

taxes = free
charges = free
handling fee per person = £5.00 (waived if using electron)

Last time I booked with aerlingus it wasn't called a "handling fee" but a "processing charge" - I was tempted to chase them up over their claim that "no taxes or charges" - i see they have changed their wording, sneaky! I booked a months worth of flights (around 20) so their sneakiness ended up costing me £100 which was particularly annoying once i had figured out the best flights for work..

fair point, but after deciding on 20 flights, you can't really get an electron card instantly when you need to book them there and then.

Slight scam in that it's £9.99 one way and £19.99 coming back, but still if you use an electron card and get the cheapest flights, £29.98 for a return to Europe is still very good.

With Entropay you can as it's a virtual electron card :thumbsup:

With Entropay you can as it's a virtual electron card :thumbsup:

Not guaranteed to work though. Works with Ryanair, but (for example) BMIBaby treat entropay as a Visa Credit Card and charge you the full fee. I don't know about Aer Lingus but you should be aware that entropay is NOT a Visa Electron card, even though Ryanair treat it as if it is.

Tried to book tenerife

4 people £865 oincluding £30 charges per person.

Really dont get how they say £9.9 or is that from?

checked every date from Nov to March for departures to ORL from LGW, LHR, MAN, BHX - no flights at advertised price - Air Lingus = Blarney (BS)?

can't see any fares at advertised prices, seems like marketing BS
