I'm sure it will be quicker than that, usually is anyway
Great case, excellent budget value
paid 39.99 last year for my kids build (in blue) great case for the tighter budget, everything tucks away nicely with nice cable management
£32.99 if you go black. So only £3 more

I bought mine recently from yoyotech 35. 99 delivered at the time amazon.co.uk had no stock or long lead times
Black looks better IMO.

FIGHT IN TGE PLAYGROUND - WINNER WINS THE ARGUMENT
Is this case fairly silent? And what would it normally retail for?

It's a decent case at this price but not a patch on the Areocool 1000.
Cold can build one for less! Joke, great budget case for the money, heat!

Whilst the Aero-500 is a budget case its better than the CIT. They are both made in the same factory and the chassis is a similar spec however the plastic panels on the CIT are of very low quality. CIT is the kind of brand you shoot for if you cant afford anything but the lowest. Aero cool is a league above, again its budget but for the extra few quid its well worth it.

The Aero 500 has its flaws, and there are a few but for the money its a solid choice but if you are on a tight budget you can do much worse.

The trusty 300. A very popular case in its time but it is a 5+ year old design now and things have moved on - The 500 has superior cable management (even though its not great but the 300 barely has any), you can fit a taller cooler, 240mm rad, more dust filers, bottom mounted PSU, dedicated 2.5" drive mount and iirc has more fans out of the box and certainly more fan mounting points.

no, it has 0.5mm steel, for steel never go below 0.8mm, 0.6mm is what most flimsy wannabe cases are made of, the worst i have seen is 0.4mm.
you want silent you either buy a silent case like a Silenco by Cooler Master which aren't bad on a budget but those types of cases with noise dampening arent very good for heat dissipation.

I personally have a case made of 2mm thick brushed aluminium. heat dissipation is excellent.
You cant tell my machine is switched on other than the light as it runs silent.
to achieve this i use a Hyper Evo 212 with Noctua fans and more Noctua fans for case in and out.
I keep my i7 and RX 480 nitro+ at about 26c by running the Noctua case fans at about 18% and typically when seriously gaming they usually get to about 40% and level out the temps at 50c on the i7 and 55c on the rx 480. at which point the rx 480 will be spinning at about 1150 ish and the Noctuaon the 212 cooler on the i7 at about 45%
The psu is an evga g2 and rarely starts its fan.
Even wheen gaming it makes less noise than my friends watercooled pc when its web browsing (most would call his a quiet pc).
Not saying all this to brag but to point out what a well tweaked air cooled machine can accomplish, but its not easy! hours of running fan tests, hours of benching to check fan curves and the fans themselves aren't cheap (my fans come to 4 times the cost of the aerocool case in this deal).
A very serious warning, if you choose to do this it will become an obsession, some nights you may lay awake lamenting the fact everything but your pc is loud, you will hear everything, your partners breath won't be quiet enough, You will wonder how you can make him/her quieter, the washing machine will be a horror to your ears and you will never be able to cook bacon again.

So instead if you arent overclocking and you dont mind a little heat then grab a dampened case like a sileco 452 or 550, its far better for your mental health.

Before anyone says it yes at 100% Noctua fans are noisy, thats why mine are set to only run above 50% if the machine one day somehow gets over 85c which is less likely in my set up than Jesus inviting me to a private Guns and Roses concert on a private jet.

Built my rig with this. Cable management possible if you take time
