not bad really for the price...
850W ...and only two PCIe 6+2 connectors ...WTF use is that ?....prob explains why it's cheap.
its alright for basic use considering the price, if you want a decent 850w psu you are looking around £80-£100
If you really need an 850W psu, then you really need a decent 850W psu. Never go cheap with your psu.
Might as well get a better spec 600w-650w PSU, if there's one component you should never cheap out on it's definitely the PSU.
what setup would you run an 850w for where you were willing to get an aerocool PSU?
I can imagine at least 2 graphics cards. its just not worth it. £20 more for an EVGA B2 750w, much better quality

Yeah, anything that claims 774W at 12V but only provides connectors to deliver 300W of it to the biggest 12V power draw in the typical system is pretty dubious.

Yeah, but if you don't need 850W then why wouldn't you buy something more honestly rated, and professionally tested besides, at the same price?

Dont, just don't .... If you think you need a 850W psu and are remotely considering this, you have it wrong!

PCs really needing 850W will be SLI at least - and one would hope that if you're building one of those you'd know that PSUs are a bad place to save money.

Start instead with a PSU calculator e.g. this, and you may well find you only need 550W or 650W, then go to a list of PSUs that are well made e.g. this

Aerocool make it to Tier 4 in that list:

No Japanese capacitors found. Only Taiwanese capacitors and may even … No Japanese capacitors found. Only Taiwanese capacitors and may even include Chinese capacitors. Very basic safety circuits or even thin gauge wiring used. Not for gaming rigs or overclocking systems of any kind. Avoid unless your budget dictates your choice.

If you are into powerful graphics cards and OC'ing, psu stability and quality of supply, as evidenced by voltage accuracy under load and low ripple, are more important than PSU gold or whatever efficiency.

Also, please don't just buy a brand - look for reviews for the model that interests you e.g. at jonnyguru. For example, Corsair make or OEM some excellent high-end PSUs but a good number of their cheaper PSUs are poor to nasty.
