PS P&P is extra (you even pay for collect+). Got my speaker set up today (very easy BT connection) and impressed. Not sure you are going to get anything as good for anything like 30 quid (but of course the manufacturer went down the swanny years ago so don't expect any updates).

PPS packaging is pretty premium looking also (as is the speaker).

All part of the same group as they bought up all remaining stock.
It's always this price every time someone posts the same 'deal'.
Does anyone actually own one, and is it any good
This looks really good nice design and 20w not too shabby, await user feedback though.
Watched a few reviews and ordered one, many thanks and all the best
I posted this last week. It arrived and I'm over the moon with sound quality and looks. Heat added.
Just ordered one, best looking speaker I’ve seen in ages. Thanks heat added
Do they have it in white ?
Ordered one. At this price it's a great deal. Wife wanted a speaker she could take round the house whilst she played specific albums and this arrives on here on the same day.
No wonder they didn't sell for £300, rip of rrp
Surprised they still have stock of these after all this time as it's been selling discounted for years, must have flopped really really hard all those years ago!

Bought one last week as I saw the previous post. Was initially impressed with the design and sound however it had to be sent back yesterday as i was using it as a Bluetooth speaker with Alexa and it constantly lost all sound. Only way to get it back was to disconnect Alexa from Bluetooth and then manually turn the speaker up (not that anyone had turned it down), then reconnect the Bluetooth. Not ideal if you want something left constantly on and don’t want to get up each time you want to use it. Didn’t use the WiFi connect function so couldn’t comment but it’s a shame as it looked and sounded really nice.

Yeah I’ve had one for over a year. It’s got very decent connectivity. Spotify connect, airplay and Bluetooth. It also sounds nice but not loud. Good for on your desk but not loud enough to fill a room. You need to upgrade the firmware from github. Search on here for previous thread. I think we’ll worth the money for design and connectivity alone. For pure volume you’d be better with a Anker speaker at this price but I like music without interpretation via Spotify connect or airplay.
Yeah I've ended up ordering a second one! Really great sound for the room, I didn't update it or anything like that. Just followed the instructions and added the Wi-Fi and it shows up in your Spotify connect straight away. Dead easy to play anything! I love how it can work on battery too so I'll be able to use it outside in the summer or put it outside the bathroom if I'm having a bath! I don't know why you would want more volume on it to be honest I never have it turned up past half way and it's too loud for me, maybe you have huge rooms?

How big is the room you use yours in?? Mine is in our lounge (20ft by 14ft) and even at half volume it fills the room with sound.
Was: £300.00 You save: £270.03
hehehe good joke , this speaker never cost that much , check the history in camel 32834367-TC6hR.jpg

Not that large. There is a difference between filling a room and filling it with good sound. Over half volume the sound distortions and doesn’t sound as loud as a google home at volume 6-7 (over that it distorts) or an Amazon echo plus post software update at 7. It sounds very nice at mid volume though. Of course both products I’ve mentioned are over double the price at least and can’t operate without internet.

if you are thinking of buying this, please look at all the previous times this deal has been posted as it seems pot luck whether you get a reliable one after a couple of months usage.
Pity it doesn't support Google Cast, that would've made it a must buy for me.

It was £300, you don't know the history behind this product, and camel only covers from June to December, this product has been on the market for many years and they've been trying to clear the stock for the last 2-3 at least.

From the other threads it seems to be more of a Bluetooth issue with connectivity? Hoping as I'm just using it for Spotify connect I won't have any problems later on!

Id say it sounds a lot better than the echo mini and big sized echo I've used. The bass is a lot better and it seems more balanced to me.
That's ugly sorry!
Can these be easily connected to an Amazon Echo or Google Home?

It does. The old echo is only a mono speaker setup as is the echo dot.

It’s actually nice in person. At least in white. I quite like both colour though.

Yes for echo no for google home without plugging in a Chromecast audio. The sound from google home full size better anyway in my opinion.

Decent with a slight overemphasis on bass up to middle volume which is plenty for close listening or background music. Above that it starts to distort on the low end. It’s very decent for £30 though.

I have the 1st generation Echo & a google home, so I assume no point in getting this then. Probably a good addition for anyone with a Echo dot or home mini.

About the same as home. Better then older echo. Yes. One factor though is this also runs off its battery for about 8 hours. Has airplay and Bluetooth so doesn’t require an internet connection. These are all fairly unusual at this price.

Have you looked at the white one ? Looks like a sonos speaker
I have looked at these before when they were around the £50 mark.

There are hardly any reviews out there from the current firmware version (originally it had Rdio integration only but that company went bust and Aether stopped trading too).

According to most reviews Spotify integration works rather well but people report Bluetooth issues (some Android devices can'tpair wit the speaker, after a while Bluetooth stops working and speaker needs full reset etc.)

Do like the look of these speakers and it is cheap, but is anyone on HUKD using it daily as a Bluetooth speaker?
What is your experience? Does it keep dropping like some reviewers flagged up. DO you ever have to re-pair or reset the speaker etc.?

We've got one, it's really nice quality and works well. We paid £40ish for ours I think, about a year ago. Well worth the money

Better than any 30 quid BT speaker I have heard. Very decent bass and pretty good soundstage. Not for the audiophiles amongst us, of course.

Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder! I have one and in the flesh I think it's rather beautiful. Certainly got a premium look/feel.

I don't really know why people would be using Bluetooth over Wi-Fi connection on these unless you were out the house? I doubt I'll ever connect mine by Bluetooth, maybe for echo dot?
