Does anyone ever break up their shopping to spend more than one voucher in one go?

We usually do a bimonthly shop which is around £100 each time.

Previous coupons in The Sun have also been in the Liverpool Echo. Worth checking if you are in the North West and want to avoid the Murdoch press.

Yep just tell the cashier you have vouchers and would like to break it at the £40 mark and they will do there best to get it bang on £40. I've even seen them scan smaller value items once it nears the £40 mark to help save you as much as possible.

I have my reasons for not buying that rag. The main one being what happened shortly after 15th April 1989. After 24 years the stories of the families who lost a loved one are being told at an inquest in Warrington. Men, women and children who went to a football match and never returned to their families. The Sun's reporting of the day was completely unforgivable and for many people they will never buy that rag. "Don't Buy the Sun" raises the profile of the disaster and awareness as many people STILL think that Kelvin MacKenzie's lies were the truth.

As a football fan (your username gives that away), assuming you actually go to matches, you should have a bit more respect for those people who died and whose names were dragged through the press in such a deplorable way.

Do you live on bread & water ?

Hot if you're a selfish numbskull who supports lying scumbag journalists and the hacking of murdered schoolchildrens phones

Cold otherwise

Aldi aint local to me so we do a big shop there and get bits from other shops in-between

The sun.....Eurghhhh enough said. And before anything is said I'm a politics undergraduate I too have my reasons.

Bloody Marvelous....Coupon fest at present where I am...Everyone's giving them away... all at the same time

Will every offer by the Sun always be associated with the disgrace that is Hillsborough, phone hacking and all sorts of low-life journalism ?

ps how long as those vouchers valid for?

Id also like to know if anyone knows the expiration date please

Wow you have a nice ALDI, I'm lucky if they don't swear at me and normally have to listen to a general rant about the vouchers and how much extra work it is for them (pressing a button)

The sad fact of the matter is, whilst we have our supporters and sympathisers, an incredible amount of people simply don't care UNTIL IT HAPPENS TO THEM!

Thanks for posting! I will be buying the sun tomorrow.

I really hope that Everton get 4th place from Arsenal. Their fans have been absolutely fantastic over the years with their support. To have both Merseyside teams in the Champions League in the year that justice is finally dished out would be fantastic (as long as they don't progress further than us!).

Anyway, for the deal, some people will buy the rag for a £5 saving. That's their choice. But the initial "Don't Buy The Sun" comment was completely uncalled for from a so called football fan. Disgraceful.

There seem to be a lot of sky dishes in Liverpool, very selective boycotting of the Murdoch Empire.
Hot deal - heat added.

Shame on Aldi, they used to have their vouchers in The Mirror, I will never buy/pay for anything that comes from the evil Murdoch..:(

Yeah, mass death and police cover ups are so yawnsome, why don't people stop bleeting on about lost family members they loved and mourn...

Have a effing heart, won't you.
