Age of Empires: The Age of Kings for the Nintendo DS is based on the best-selling PC RTS title of all time: Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. You'll command 5 different civilizations, build armies and take them on scores of campaigns. Boasting turn-based strategy gameplay, Age of Empires: The Age of Kings lets you move from the Dark Ages
through the Middle Ages with one goal in mind: domination of the known world.

"Like the other awesome turn-based strategy game for the DS, Advance Wars Dual Strike, Age of Empires provides the deep, addictive balance of strategy and action that should keep you toting that wee silver clam around with you for weeks." - 1up review (85/100)

Never played the PC version of this game, but I enjoyed playing the DS version - I found it quite addictive in a "Just one more turn..." kind-of-a-way;-)

Nice price Dan

STUDENT10% will save a quid if you have a valid NUS extra card number.

This is my favourite game on the DS, it's highly addictive and great fun. Fantastic price.

just to inform people, you will get a US import version. 95% of their DS games are US cheap imports.

I have ordered from Games Collection before and purchased 5 Wii games ... they were ALL UK standard ... brand new and sealed

Bit of a random stat there stingersplash? You sure about your 95%? ;-)

I ordered this a few weeks ago and it turned up very quickly but is a US copy and the US copy comes with some game breaking problems: apparently having a profile name of 3 letters can break it and also using the "save and quit" function, both are supposed to make the game unplayable.

If you avoid these problems like i have then it's fine but you might want ot spend a few quid more on the UK version just in case.

oh and i got the student discount by typing in my NUS (not extra card) so other students might wanna try that.

Excellent game. Currently stuck on the way-too-hard retake Jerusalem level

I recently bought this game for my boyfriend on the DS and I paid a lot more than that!! He is totally addicted to it and wont let me have a go till he's completed it, typical!! Anyway, supposed to be a great game and at that price its worth it.
