...and I’d go as far to say it’s a little generous at that. A distinctly average game that belongs in the last gen as far as its gameplay mechanics, story and acting go. If you have a backlog I’d wait till this is even cheaper, but if your desperate for a new game for cheap and loved (really loved) the saints games to this day then its probably justifiable.

Is the game worth it?

short answer = no
long answer = a game not worth the long answer but think Battleborn. didn't hit the floor running, more like splatting.
I’m in the camp that thought this was really fun. I bought it the other week for £10 and I definitely enjoyed myself with it. It’s got a few flaws but was definitely worth the entry fee. The stuff Fahey said about it on Kotaku is pretty much what I thought of the game.

Personally I'd avoid it until you're stuck for something to play. My game crashes at the same point on one of the missions so I can't progress any further. The only remaining solution is to talk one of my friends into trying the disk on their console, but finding a volunteer to try a broken game isn't easy.
It's alright, nothing too amazing in it, I'd give it a punt at this price. Still, a shame this game tanked as I love Volition, if only they made a new Red Faction game.
