Told you they're sxxt hot there ;) I knew it would have been dispatched but that said having had a nosey at the tracking mine is coming with Secured Mail and seems to be sat at some place in Warrington rather than coming from Warminster way which is where they're from :/

Treas0n

Turns out it was shipped after all - the email had gone into my junk. At least the book will be ready for when the PS4 inevitably arrives :p

Chasloyal

I've had a couple of PS4's since launch, the plain black MK 1 which Infamous came bundled with and then the silver Batman edition a year or so later, but I not been tempted to upgrade to the Pro at all. I not jumped on it yet mainly because I didn't consider it a big enough step up for the price but now with all this talk of a PS5 in the next 18-24 months I don't think I'll bother even with the inevitable price drop. Just wait n see what crops up about this matter in a few weeks time at E3. I am sure you'll have got it shipped today and receive it Monday, they are very good at A Great Read.

Treas0n

Hmm I don't have my despatch note yet...oh well, no big deal, I don't have the game yet....or a PS4 :{ Waiting for a PS4 Pro bundle to pop up!

Chasloyal

Absolutely mate, A Great Read is my first port of call for any book these days so they've beaten Speedy Hen in to a distant second place. Market forces n all that, to be honest I was surprised to find it so cheap when I went noseying on there for it last night. They was bound to raise the price once a few had shifted. Talking of shifting, I got confirmation of dispatch about an hour ago so they've definitely got them ready to go.

Just received mine this morning-delivery was slow, a week all in, but the book is fantastic. Nice finish, good pictures-no pixellated poor quality screen shots, loads of info. Really pleased I picked this up on offer. Worth £25? Yeah, I think so, but I’d never have paid that. There is a free eGuide that comes with the book too-whether the content is exactly the same as the printed copy I couldn’t say, but handy if you’re playing on the go. Works pretty well on an iPhone 6s display. Cheers for the post OP (for a second time!), really good price for this little bundle!

I only have the regular edition. The majority of the book is of course about power moons. These are brief descriptions usually with a map marker of where to find them. Most don't have screenshot. Would possibly suggest screenshots included in the collector's version, along with more in depth descriptiona. Perhaps the purple coin locations are more in depth too. In my edition only a few are described, with the rest being shown in just a map. The standard guide is perfectly great however, but for £11, I would have for the Collector's. I paid £5 something on eBay for my standard.

I think I did... £50 for game + Cappy £33 for the 3 amiibos £10 for the hardback book guide £10 for the themed switch case £10 for the Odessy coin £10 for the Odessy comfort grip for JoyCons TOTAL NET Odyssey spend = £123 Had my eye on those Odyssey thumb caps for a while too haha! Might have forgot something too, anyone beating that? Oh the book is good by the way, I got it for my kid, but only gave it to him when he got a bit proper stuck with finding moons.

Finally turned up today

Chasloyal

Had this mail drop in a couple of hours ago (annoyed)

Chasloyal

Very good question, but an educated guess says the publishers and printers involved in these publications are probably the most likely source of the real accurate leaks and spoilers of these games in the weeks leading up to the release date.

maffeycourt

I haven't a Scooby!

NotoriousC

how do these companies make guides before the game even comes out. do they early copies, or does the developer send them a walkthrough and they just publish it?

May I recommend a better book , by a great mind and intelectaul who not only took down Marx and was teh first major critic of Plato . A book that will long live after us all (also I think avaliable in cheaper forms on Abebooks , Amazon etc ) https://www.routledge.com/The-Open-Society-and-Its-Enemies/Popper/p/book/9780415610216

osymandus

Read what I said , I was not comparing them . I was pointing out that every system or country can fall to a deviation of that system and corruption . You seem to thiink only one system is inherently corrupt taht is nonsense .

Zlorf

If you can honestly compare America with Venezuela, then we have nothing else to talk about. Buy or do not buy the book. You're free to choose.

osymandus

I think we do . Your understanding of Sweden needs to be baked up with facts and not the stupid stories coming out of alt right filter . I have Friends and visited both Norway and Sweden over the years so am regular informed about the nonsense badly interpreted . Pleas do commentate on Venezuela , its become a ridiculous despot controlled country .. not unlike america . Neither of which is to do with their social economic structure . The UK and many countries have had starvation , death in corridors and lack of care to patients (either due to under-funding or none payment of bills ) . Drop your filters and read something else aside from the above book . There are not definitive forms of any of these systems , that is a simplistic model straight out of college political studies (You think Adam Smiths version of capatlism is the only version that exisits or has in it self never cuased wars or death ?). It also invalidates all your arguments . enjoy .

Zlorf

Scandinavia? I I don't even need to mention Sweden... Norway was already a rich, stable nation before they created economic equality of outcome and became a welfare state. They had their shipping, fishing and oil. Then they introduced massively high levels of taxation. Do you think that would work out well in the UK, with our population size and demographics? Living nightmare. No, as an example, let's try Venezuela. Jezza was only just congratulating his little mate Maduro on doing socialism "right". https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/835994/Corbyn-Venezuela-Nicolas-Maduro-Hugo-Chavez-Labour-Party-Watch-Video As a recent example, it was recently reported that doctors in Venezuela had flagged up the rising number of patient deaths to STARVATION IN HOSPITALS. Protests ensued, of course, and then came the violent crackdowns. Socialism's solution to this conundrum? The state made it illegal for doctors to register "starvation" as any patient's cause of death in future. Your warm, fuzzy socialism always turns into murder, and when that happens, the former proponents all cry the same thing: "This is not the right kind of socialism! This is not the socialism we asked for!"

showing £13.99 for me too :(

Realhoneyman

Although its a shame that there is less content, complaining about getting the Western release of the artbook for about £10.00 is splitting hairs. There's still a large volume of content for what you pay for here. If you can get the Japanese version of the artbook imported for under £40.00, be my guest. N.B elchery, ignore my last post. I can see they have raised the price now.

Illusionary

Thanks. Did you order when the listing reflected that cover, or once it had been updated with the US version? Hopefully the issue is just that UK sites in general are picking up the wrong image, given that it's the one that's generally featured in any publicity for the book.

I confirm the one from amazon Uk is with PAL cover (I received one)
