Dealerships normally charge £50-70 so a tenner seems really good.

Even states "We will even re-treat your vehicle free of charge should you experience any problems associated with bacterial growth within twelve months of treatment."

Note: from the comments it sounds like this isn't a complete recharge of the refrigerant

Is this just the refresh or a recharge? Because I'm sure they're different

Looks like it's just a refresh and not a recharge.

Thought it was too good to be true for Mitsubishi to do something cheap,I mean this is the company that tried to charge me £250 for one bulb for my Evo.

OP,you might want to remove the bit that says make your car COOL and nice smelling as it gives the impression that it may include a refrigerant recharge.

you canbuy the bacteria killing bomb in poundland sometimes.....easy ti do yourself

Recharge is *Available at an additional cost

Small print does not say how much the additional is..

Or £15 by a multitude of Groupon deals

buy a can of air con deodoriser from euro parts. 1 can will do a few car and is only around a fiver

Each car has a set weight of refrigerant that should be put into the A/C system.

So how can you tell what amount is in at the time ? just stick a can on blast some in and hope for the best ?

I think you are getting confused with cans of refrigerant and cans of antibacterial cleaner, you don't need a set amount of antibacterial cleaner, and that's what others are talking about.

For those that enjoy an argument, the images at Donnelly Mitsi air con refresh page have alt tags stating "Air Con Recharge from just £10".

The webmaster for Donnelly Mitsi has quoted "recharge" in the image tags on that page, although the page text says "refresh", hence the possibility of an argument if anyone attempts to obtain a recharge at £10.

Yes read the this bit in the op (Note: from the comments it sounds like this isn't a complete recharge of the refrigerant ) and jumped to conclusions.

This can be done yourselves, buy the spray and follow the instructions, usually warm up heater, set to recirculation and set the can off near the heater box....

You could try it but I don't think you will have much chance seeing they have a * where it says about ac coolant level ,and that it is an additional cost.
