Impressed you worked that out so quick!

Groupon uses weird shell companies to inflate the price so they look like stuff is on “sale”. Usually just search the model number for the thing they are selling and you’ll cut through the BS pretty quick

But yeah just a quick google of the model

Heat added? Doesn’t that defeat the object somewhat?

Always found these type of units to be so loud as to make sleep almost impossible, may be wrong about this one...

It may be loud but at the moment have two large fans going which is also loud yet not massively effective (way better than NOT having then mind) it could be the air con cools the room down first then one of the fans takes over. Im hoping on low or medium it wont be disruptive
£152.99 with Code Welcome or SAVE247
so its cheaper in china... but you are forgetting about import duty + VAT + shipping.... good luck getting it cheaper than the £153 it costs with the code....
Anyone received this unit? I just ordered one
Just purchased thanks...used Quidco...so hopefully even cheaper!
Thanks OP, just ordered, can't understand why this does not have more heat, 9000 btu aircon for just over £150 delivered in UK mainland or around £125 delivered if the 18% deal today from Quidco also pays out, seems like a bit of a bargain !
These are rebranded Tristar AC-5529 Air conditioner, I have one bought it when someone posted it on offer on ebuyer a while ago and I sleep through the noise of it, its got remote control too comes in really handy, they have dehumidifier and fan only options as well great cooling units, just the hoses are not long enough so might be worth buying a longer one.

they are loud.
We use ours to cool the room before we go to bed, and then its easier for us to get to sleep

Yup they are loud but when your that hot and that tired you will sleep through anything or at least I will :P
Yeh you can get a top end fan for £100 so £55 more makes sense to get basic AC.
Why is this so cold?
Any reviews yet

Thanks. Could I ask if you found polystyrene around the vents on the front ? Some have and not sure it should be there. Thanks
Yes should be there I think I took front off and looks like it’s made to fit there hope that helps
Thanks for replying. Much appreciated
Mine arrived and it works pretty well. Medium sized double bedroom and it cools it down nicely. Yes its fairly loud but only on par with having the 2 fans going we had on before. Its not the worst noise its certainly worth putting up with and i sleep alot better being cool cuddled up with the wife rather than laying apart sweating and turning all the time. Well worth the money although i assumed it would be even more cApable of cooling than it is but hey its a bottom end ac unit not a 3k integrated one
