great price plus you get the bracket included

I bought one of the Trek saddles last time Lidl had them to replace a rather old and torn Seller Royals saddle. Compared to the old one, this new Lidl one is like an armchair and very comfortable. Heat added.

How the hell do you get your 4rse over the back wheel when shooting down a gnarly downhill technical section with one of these big 4rse lazy boys between your cheeks?

Smutty joke alert

Now theres a double-entendre!

probably will fall apart by xmas too

It says "city" or "trekking". Could I fit the city saddle on a mountain bike that has front shocks? I'm unsure which one to get. The trekking looks a little short or maybe it's just me.. could you slip off? The city I saw in Lidl looks very narrow.. maybe too narrow for my nether regions. I only go down the shops, hardly ever off-road (max 8 miles return journey). I am leaning towards the trekking saddle and even though you might loose a bit of speed, the comfort appeals to me. I am replacing a saddle I stuffed with padded foam and all I can say is, never do this lol. Your nether regions take quite a hammering and the side-effects aren't nice to say the least.

Thanks for sharing the info

Update: I went down Lidl and saw they had just a few left so I thought now or never.. I got the City saddle as there seems to be very little difference between City and Trekking both in terms of appearance and size.

The box seems a little too small for these saddles; every saddle (Trek and City) was pushing the rear of the box out making them all look a bit tatty.

Once opened the saddle seems to be of very good quality. Very smooth surface surfaces with no blemishes or kinks. These saddles do have staples underneath however they are carefully and discretely placed. I like the pump feature, too.. maximum of ten little pumps for a hard setting. Nice big release valve knob for easy access (Just might look a bit awkward when one is erm, 'pumping away' down there to get more comfort in transit lol).

All I have to do now is fit it. It feels good to touch. Can't wait to fit it and get some bum suspension back. Will update asap.
