Iv never used one of these, but I will be buying one, should I pay few extra from eBay Argos or this one?

Just for abit if fun
I bought this a month ago for my son.
It is fun watching my son but there is no real control.
Every time it crashes more of the foam breaks off.
Although kids love it it won’t last long.
These aren't very responsive and break very easily. Worth the money as will entertain the kids for a few weeks but don't expect more from these.
Yes, the rc helix is made of polystyrene. Unfortunately.

The Ebay one for £22 is FPV, so you can wear the headset and view it from that when you're flying it. You need a smart phone for that to work, as you phone sits in the headset and becomes the screen.
A few people mentioning the polystyrene, and little bit of it breaking off.

You do realise that those crashes would break most quads. So if you are crashing them, and they still work, that shows how durable they are.

Crash you car at a relative speed, for sizes, which would be over 70mph, and see if how that compares.

Exactly and no model is designed to be crashed unless you have a endless open wallet.
Try some computer RC sim's that interface with a basic RC transmitter. It's really the only safe and cheap why to get people flying without heartache and disappointment. Alternately consider joining a model flying club if you have any close to you. Here you'll receive professional help and advice on just about any flying machine.
