Deal expired

Why? The Ivory Freesia Bloom variant is still available.

Why are people so trigger-happy with the Expire button?

EDIT: Just seen that you've updated your post

If you're ordering it today but the price goes up while you're waiting for your delivery then you'll be charged the current price. Future s&s deliveries would vary in price though so if you're already on a subscription and your next delivery is due in a few weeks then its better to cancel the existing sub & reorder today

I was hoping that was the case that I would be charged todays price only because it's the first S&S order and not a repeat order of a previously. So I should only pay £2.45 even though it won't be delivered until next month ?

Yup the price you pay is always the price shown when you subscribe , id the price goes up you still pay the price as when you ordered , if it goes down you can cancel your subscription and then re-subscribe at the new lower price - I do it all the time! (_;)

I always cancel my subscriptions after delivery in case the price goes up and only re-order if I need it and the price is good ie the same or less than what I paid the first time round

I have fun with subscribe and save though! lol
