Airo Brush for Henry Vacuum - £16.49 @ Amazon

Found 17th Apr 2015
The Airo carpet brush for the popular Henry (et al) vacuum cleaners.

Unlike the standard head, it has a rotating beater brush bar to improve carpet cleaning.

Seems to be a good price - certainly the cheapest it has ever been on Amazon - and around £25 at most other places.

Thanks OP, nearly bought this for £23 off eBay this week, bargain!

Does anyone know whether these are any good? Or is it something I'll buy, use once and then relegate to the back of the cupboard under the stairs X)

You'll wonder why you didn't buy one sooner. The vacuum spins up the brush head and it glides across the carpet. Picks up pet hair etc., effortlessly. Our standard head is the one relegated to the cupboard. Hope this helps.

Okay, you've convinced me and I've just ordered one - thanks!

Is this any good for hard floors?

No.. And I don't rate it on carpet either (although better than the standard head). There are far better carpet cleaners out there. Hot though just for the price.

Thanks ordered.

Are these the ones I can stuff my knob in, or would it scuff the tip?

I got this mayb a year ago now and it is excellent worth every penny great price aswell

Weird to see this today. The cleaning lady at work was raving about these this morning, and I found this deal for her!
By far the best price out there. Hot.
Also, great fun removing the hair form the spinny it.

ordered but I won't be using it as suggested in some of the recent posts.

ordered, thanks.

I have new carpets all through the house and no pets, should I bother getting this for my Henry?

Probably not. We had new carpets last year, and I don't bother using this as the other head is adequate and adapts easily for wooden kitchen floor and our 5 bobbly rugs. We only have a small house though. If you have a big house I image it could save you some time and effort. But too much of a faff for me to change head for every rug and the kitchen.

Will this work on a shaggy type rug? The standard head us not very good on this so I have to remove it and just use the pipe in its own??

you missed billyjo

I have got one of those for my Henry, and never use it. Does not seem to be efficient on carpets or high pile rugs.

I have also a portable Dyson with a motorised brush, and it is a lot better (you can actually see marks of the carpet pile being lifted).

The Dyson one is motorised and better designed, while the Henry-compatible one is very basic, and using suction to rotate. To be honest, just a piece of plastic, shouldn't cost more than £5...
