There's no benefit at all to the wireless charging case, anyone who has Airpods already will agree I'm sure.
i literally had these delivered last night for the £139 it was priced at yesterday, just got off the phone to amazon now and they have refunded me £10 as i said i would just return it for a refund and reorder so saves everyone time.
Thanks OP for the post.
They also knocked off £1.04 from the pros! Bargain

I own these (without wireless charging case) and honestly see no benefit to wirelessly charging this case until Apple bring their own charging pad out that can allow you to charge multiple devices Together.

The non-wireless case is sufficient, lightning charges it quick you don’t even notice.

Can someone enlighten me my son wants these for Xmas I'm a bit confused about the case when you say wireless case charging does this case charge the headphones when he will be out and about?
Thanks

So the case itself for this version charges with a lightning cable.

But the case charges the AirPods - so yes, whenever the AirPods are in the case the case will charge the AirPods... if that makes sense! Both the case and the AirPods contain a battery.
Would they allow a return if it did not fit my ears. Thanks heat added

I've tried that tactic after price drops on Amazon with a few items and usually find they'd rather heat the planet a little more and make me return and re-order - so I'm glad they saw sense this time! No problem

Thank you for your help geekonthepc I wasn't sure what it meant but I get what you mean so no real difference does anyone think these will become cheaper on blackfriday?

I've never seen them cheaper myself (other than through grey market retailers) so I'd say chances are no, but it's up to your gambling skills to work that one out ! The heat of this deal might give you a bit of a clue on people's opinions mind.

How long do I have to return them?

Think it's usually around 30 days on Amazon as long as you don't open them, so I guess you could order now and then wait. Might be best to check their returns policy though, not entirely sure.

Yeah I'd second that.

I've recently got the Airpod Pros and i have not used the wirless charging and i find myself just plugging them in at night.

To be honest i would rather have £20 knocked off the price and just had a standard case.

Purchased if cheaper on blackfriday I will return them thanks
Has anyone tested back to back with Redmi airdots, obviously these are better of that there is no doubt but I wonder how noticeable it is..
Almost purchased last night through O2 with student discount, glad this deal came up, prime delivery
Can I just ask before I hit buy..... son doesn't have iphone, has samsung S9, will these work fine tho?.... I would assume things connected to siri wouldn't function etc, but they'll still be same quality etc with non iphone? Thanks x
I don't suppose unidays can be used on Amazon Prime can it? (Wishful thinking!)

They will work fine on non Apple devices but in my view you lose most of the reason to choose AirPods if you use them with another device. They just work as basic Bluetooth earphones. Still, they will connect and work fine.

Actually this isn't entirely true. If you connect them to an Apple laptop (borrow if you have to) you can configure what you want the taps to do (i.e. tap twice on one ear to skip, tap twice on the other ear to reverse) on the computer, then save the settings, connect to your Samsung phone and it will work.

Despite what other people say, having a wireless charging case is great, I have wireless chargers all over the house and on my desk at work which I use to charge my phone and airpods wirelessly, as I never have a lightening cable near me.

Not for me. They have asked to return the item and repurchase!
Apple will price match (o2 also have the same price). Therefore buy them from Apple and if you have any problems with them they will replace them hassle free. When you buy from other retailers and take them into Apple they will try to repair them first.
Thanks ordered. I needed 2, however limited to 1 person. Hoog job my mrs has a Amazon account as well. Christmas sorted, as I doubt this will get any cheaper, from a good seller.

You will have to pay for the return postage method if they are not faulty
Hoping for £99 from somewhere on Black Friday.
Aren't the Samsung buds far superior?

Be careful, Amazon do ban people for returning stuff
My daughters left airpod became faulty. We dont live anywhere near an Apple store so we went online for help.

Apple wanted a card number to send out a replacement. We also had to send the airpods back too . If they found it was faulty they would refund the money. If found to be my daughters fault no refund.

I found that to be bad. She really looked after them and really they were potentially forcing her to pay and keep the replacement pair just on their say that it was her fault somehow one broke. There was no assessment first just buy new ones and maybe get a refund .

Not seen customer service like that before. Apple is a huge company, I didn't find their after care very good.

Their aftercare is usually one of the best there is. I think that’s fair of them though, if it’s faulty they will replace. If it’s damage they won’t.
naqvial16/11/2019 07:46

Twice as good!

I would say no. But diminishing returns is to be expected.

Tbh it depends what you care about in earphones. You obviously want apple and the best apple earphones you can get are the pros.
