I'm sure they will be £200 at some time before Xmas, if not, oh well.

doubt it, but would be nice that's for sure
Not sure on these but I have bought two iPads from Hitechelectronics which when arrived I realised are imports. A little annoying as not stated in the listings.

Just mentioning as these may to be an import, not that it matters too much with Airpods.

Yeah as there is no actual plug included, just a lighting to usb-c cable, this shouldn’t matter for these

Haha they are for my 10yr old to flex with on FaceTime.
Just read that you can't control volume on these without either voice control or using the phone. Is that really true? Seems like a massive shortcoming. I regularly change volume on my Jabra wireless headphones when out running and it'd be a nightmare to try to get to the phone to do this. Voice control is just too cumbersome when you want to just quickly dip the volume for sometihng and then increase it again. For this kind of money a volume control doesn't seem like too big an ask.

No there is no volume, only via voice, iPhone or Apple Watch but then pull out one bud and it pauses music I think. The pressure buttons on the buds are to skip tracks, pause or change between noise cancellation modes

Yes that’s true No volume however most users will now be in the ecosystem will now own an Apple watch. I use my watch to control volume Personally I find that easier than reaching towards my ears.

If you have an Apple Watch just tap the crown once and scroll up or down for the volume. Works every time for me.

Not sure that’s true. Apple sold c.22m Apple Watch units in 2018 and over 35m AirPods. Factor in that many users (myself included) own one but not the other, it’s not a stretch to estimate that roughly half of AirPods users don’t use Apple Watch.

I really like the AirPods pro, but omitting volume controls was an odd choice. But then again, we are talking about Apple here - probably saving volume controls for version 4

Yes it’s true and before I had my first generation of airpods I thought it would bother me but when you’re not tethered to a cable, it’s not as much of an issue to control volume on your phone.

It’s even easier if you have an Apple Watch, just use the Digital Crown.

When these hit £200, I’ll bite.
I can only hope the seller ends up with stacks of returns.

Or they just value convenient audio more than you do... or maybe they just have more disposable income... or yea, I suppose they could theoretically have a head injury. I’m guessing one of the first two though.
Apple price is still tooooooo! Expensive

I never said you couldn't, thank you very much. You seem to forget it was you who made the derogatory comment towards myself and many others who have chosen to purchase this product. Apparently I need my "head checked".
