With a mattress featuring supportive 12.5g open coil spring units with a framed edge for additional support, the Airsprung Ledbury Ortho Memory Divan promises a really good night's sleep, as it also has 30mm of visco elastic memory foam that moulds around the contours of your body to provide extra comfort and support.

For further comfort there's an insulator pad to eliminate spring feel and soft layers of polyester fillings. The mattress is topped with a quilted soft-knitted panel on the sleeping surface and finished with four flag stitched handles on a quilted damask border, so when it comes to moving it it's not quite the usual struggle.

Four breathable vents on the side help with temperature control and moisture management. And there's no need to turn the mattress either, so it's easy to look after - just rotate it from time to time.

The divan base has castors for easy manoeuvrability and universal headboard fittings so it's easy to fit a stylish headboard of your choice. This model comes in single, double and kingsize versions, with none, two or four drawers.

Incorrect.
The OP price is for 'double, non storage', 'single, non storage' is £119.50. Look at the drop down size menu box on the right.

I hope this link works. If not copy it in to your browser.

PS. Then select your size/price from the box on the right as the link shows the price for single by default.

The OP hadn't linked, another user linked, however to a different bed entirely. I therefore retract my statement and also edit to topic

This one cheaper for a king … This one cheaper for a king http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/home_and_garden/beds/123876942_airsprung-ledbury-ortho-memory-divan.html?hnav=4294889963

No fellow Hoop, that's for the single, non storage.

OP, all of the prices you have listed at the bottom of your blurb are wrong. You must have got those from a different bed.
ie. double, non storage is £174.50 (your 'correct' headline deal), single non storage is £119.50., king non storage £224.50

when buying a bed i would highly recommend, going and lying on it first. after 2 beds bought from the internet that have lasted less than 4 years combined and neither of them being very comfortable. I opted for a bed that i tried in the shop with a 40 day return. i have spent £1500 on it but the other 2 beds combined were £650 so if i get 12 years out of it like my 1st bed then I will actually be saving.

Hmmm....could do with the divan bit but not the clearly appalling included mattress, any ideas anyone?
£249 for a king 4 draw divan if good quality doesn't seem too bad, even if not keeping the mattress or am I bonkers?

Also, how high are these, can't seem to find that bit on the site.

Kingsized mattress measures (LxWxD): 200x150x57cm. (That must be mattress+bed), 5th paragraph down under 'Product Overview'.
Mattress is 19.05cm thick, further down the page under 'Product Features'
The base will be 38cm high.

PS. Almost bought it. Is the mattress really that bad? Mind you, I have the mattress that's on the existing bed, though that is a bit softer than I anticipated this one to be.

PPS. I just read up on 'open coil spring units' and it doesn't fill me with confidence. It's a shame you can't choose another mattress or just buy the base a bit cheaper on it's own.

Thanks for posting about the height mate, I'm not a mattress expert to be honest just know the basics about various types.
Was more going by the price really, the mattress can be purchased separately for £149 which is far too cheap for any kind of quality from past experience.

Could be a hidden gem though, just not likely.
