OMG heat heat heat

I like the idea of a cheap smart watch but I'm pretty sure I'd regret having one!

Gotta be worth a punt at this price.

Compatibility: Compatible with iOS only ?
Will this work with the iPhone?

Then it says :
and Android smart phones?

Does this have a heart rate monitor?

ukez

No

Dont do it people. I tried one it was awful although ended up buying a sony smartwatch 3 which is excellent

Take your £10 note, take a match and burn the note. You will have more fun watching it turn to ash than you will get out of these type of watches. I speak from experience lol.

Problem is with Bluetooth v 3.0
your phone battery will be survive half a day
also you loose connection between phone and smart watch

well I've taken the risk lol

Too much of a security risk. This cheap smartwatch will easily be open to being hacked. Probably no encryption, so your messages etc are open to all, no authentication protection, so no limit on failed number of logins meaning easily brute force hacked, etc.

You actually would be worried about that? Are you a secret agent? Secret squirrel? Hong Kong Phooey?

Call quality will crap though.

Can it be used just as a watch? No linking to a phone etc?

Have had a few of these cheap smart watches and find them quite good. Thought this was a deal though as you can make calls from it and I'm not allowed my phone in work.

ive got a few of these cheap smart watches , iradish y6 which looks very similar to this and im very impressed , provides me with all the notifications from my android phone and also due to this as a sim slot can work stand alone for calls and texts , but its a little tricky writing a text on a 1.56 inch touch screen but can be done. These can also be connected to Bluetooth headphones or headset and also as a sd card slot so can play mp3 tracks direst to your wireless headphones/earphones and mine works well.

It depends what you do on your phone - any financial stuff, mobile banking etc? They could get your passcode, use it to pretend to be your phone and upload a malicious firmware update.
I suppose its relatively obscure, but then getting virus/malware on a phone can be very rare but it doesn't stop many ensuring they have antivirus apps on their phone?

if your phone software is upto date and you have install apps from local source turned off( on your phone) there is no risk of a virus or malware , but if you are paranoid and want extra protection install avg android or similar , ive been using my cheap smart watches connected to 3 phones for over 12 months and use banking apps paypal ect and never seen any problems. The Bluetooth connection is used for the smart watch app on your phone to allow notifications to and from your smart watch exactly the same way all smart watches work including the apple watch.

Dont buy it from Gearbest. A colleague bought the Bluboo Uwatch from them. The battery drained very quickly then expanded, blowing off the back cover whilst charging. He then noticed the Man battery size was completely different to what it was supposed to be. And after checking found out the serial code was fake and the watch. Gearbest offered only $10 refund because they said he had worn the watch even though it cost $35.

Use Amazon instead.
