Also £5 discount with the latest RS VIP newsletter.

I'm in the minority on this site cos I like AKG, Beats & Bose and am not a big fan of Sennheiser...

That's three eyes.

What's the sound leakage like on these? Also how much sound gets in from outside with these on please?

These are outstanding headphones and should not be held up against Beats in any way. What HIFI magazine gave them the award for best headphones overall that year. If you're not hearing great audio from these, something is going wrong elsewhere. These are super portable too, they fold right up into a cute little bundle.

When the originals first launched they cost £200. They were steadily discounted over time and a few years on this is a pretty standard price for them from a decent seller that isn't ripping you off.

I agree I own the AKG ordinals and the sound quality is fantastic and once you burn them in (leave them playing for a while) the sound is stunning. Sound leakage is not an issue nor is the external sounds around you. Buy them you will not be disappointed. Just watch out for fakes sold elsewhere bad reviews are often linked to cheap copy's branded as AKG.

I've had the K450 and recently upgraded to the K451 - such fantastic headphones for the price. Could not recommend higher.

No idea why my newsletter post keeps being re-added, I'm using the mobile site...?

Voted hot as I have the 451's but if you're getting excited about the Android compatible remote, remember it's just a single button so maybe consider the previous model if you can get a better deal and use the headset controller app for the same functionality play.google.com/sto…set £1.99 for the full version.

Very happy with my £20 AKG K511 here

if you sign up with Richersounds VIP club you get a £10 voucher, and then it seems you can get now get £5 voucher, and they do stack.

last year I saved £35 on some Sennheisers by signing up again to the VIP club and using the £10 off headphone offer that month on top of a £15 special offer.

No-one has compared them with Beats and no-one would. Beats aren't taken seriously. WhatHifi gave the award to the K451. These ones don't actually have any reviews.

You might want to read the thread before you start spouting off about what has and hasn't been said but really, believe what you like, this is a week old discussion and you're adding nothing to it.

I got these in store about 3 weeks ago, they are good but im no audiophile :P

Hi, I'm on the market for some of these headphones. If it makes any difference, I'm an iphone user.. should I get these or just go for the k451 for £10 less? Cheers

Adam
