That is a good price for 40mm AKG's - mostly good reviews - but at that price you can't complain.
Great for the money imo - can't go wrong. Even better if you have some of the vouchers from the Audible trial / top up.:)
Hopefully these can replace my low-end Superlux HD 681.

Got these just ok headphones imo
If these are anything like the more expensive AKG K240 'Studio' 'Professional' headphones, which also had good ratings on Amazon, then they will be junk. Would never buy AKG at this price point again.

Well, as far as the K240s go, they have good treble, but very narrow midrange and practically non-existent bass. I know they are supposed to have a flat response, but the bass is seriously lacking - I sent them straight back. The K92s are lower down in the range, so I would anticipate they aren't going to be any better, though to be fair, I have not tried them.
