These AKGs are quite something. Bluetooth headphones that sound just as good as their wired counterparts." What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision Award Winner 2016.

Wireless freedom with Bluetooth
Wireless meets award-winning design with the AKG Y50BT headphones. Simply pair them up with your Bluetooth compatible smartphone, tablet, laptop, PC or Mac and you're ready to listen - cable free. The Y50BT uses rechargeable batteries that can provide up to 20 hours of music playback. A USB cable is provided for recharging and, with a standard 3.5mm cable supplied, the music can continue, even when you've exhausted the batteries.

AKG signature sound quality
The AKG Y50BTs boast class-leading sound quality. Larger than the Y40 models, the Y50s are ideal for use both on the move and at home. The larger size gives a deep, dynamic bass response that still has the typical AKG precison and refinement. The closed-back design keeps both outside noise blocked and also prevents leakage from the headphones to the outside world - making them a more commuter friendly pair of headphones.

Simple, effortless control and with mic built-in
With a clear and easy to locate control panel on the side of one earpiece, it's easy to control the Y50BT. Adjust the volume, play/pause, skip tracks and answer/drop calls all from the earpiece control pad (note, when running in passive/cabled mode these functions no longer operate). With a built-in microphone on one of the earpieces, it's also easy to make and receive hands-free calls.

AKG quality and comfort
The unique 3D-axis mechanism doesn't just make these headphones easy to fold and carry, it also gives a perfect fit against your ears. The soft, padded, headband and ear pieces simply add to the long term comfort of these headphones. Although light and comfortable, the Y50BTs are durable, too. The folding design helps when storing the headphones - as does the lack of cable! A soft travel pouch is also included.

Top quality sound with wireless freedom - AKG does it better than anyone in its class.

2 year limited guarantee included

same price at amazon if you prefer their customer services: amazon.co.uk/dp/…-21

Heat for the price though.
I’ve got some, for which I paid 39.99 a few months ago. They are terrific. In particular the speed at which they connect is remarkable. The sound is excellent too. They’re not quite as loud as I would like though. This may be because I am going a bit mutton.
Got these "free" with my samsung watch from Argos. They're very good headphones, well worth 70 notes imo.
I haven't encountered customer service that is better than from Richer Sounds. They are more than reasonable.

I had the same deal and can honestly say they are very good.
Use them for gym whilst running and performed really well compared to my ear buds or wired ear phones.

Quick set up and works with TV too.
Superb headphones, I paid £49.99 for mine at Onogo (out of stock currently), but nothing cheaper than I've seen in this deal at the moment.
Good headphones but huge
I really want to love these headphones. I have had two pairs now but both have died and had to be returned. Great sound though. Maybe they've revised the internals... who knows !
Personally I'd pay the extra £10 and get the Sony WH-H800 from Carphone Warehouse or Audio-Technica ATH-SR5BT from MagicVision magicvision.eu/aud…vWE

Headphone choice is pretty subjective though.
They're good, but I find the controls fiddly and counterintuitive.

Have a pair myself which I got free with a Samsung Watch.

I agree with your comments. They get sore on the ears after a short time as well. Sound is OK but no better than my regular BT pair @ £20. Bass isn't great but I've never found decent bass on any BT earphone.

On the plus side, I've read of some decent customer support when people have issues. Battery life is great also. Their also the loudest earhones I've owned but I still prefer my cheap ear loop earphones I bought a while back.
Great headphones if a little brittle. Had three pairs now and 2 failed around the hinges. Most recent pair have lasted around a year with no problems at all though
I found the sound from these pretty detailed and well controlled. Definitely good for the money, they were a bit cheaper a month or 2 ago but... even £70... I don't think many folks would be disappointed.

Not a headphone for bass-heads but... AKG generally stay close to "reference" as their signature sound.
These do sound good but I didn't find them particularly comfortable and I couldn't use them for a long time due to sore ears.

I also found that if I folded them the power button would often be pressed by the other earcup resting against it which was irritating. I ended up sticking a small adhesive rubber foot/nub thing right next to the button so that the other earcup couldn't press it accidentally
