Cheapest i can see this for anywhere, everywhere else seems to be around £80. im sure most wont need one but just incase there is someone out there wanting one lol i reckon it will get cold in here but oh well

The AlcoMate Prestige Breathalyzer is very simple to use - just hold the button until it bleeps, wait a few seconds for the countdown while the unit clears its sensor, then as soon as it bleeps again just blow through the mouthpiece. The unit will indicate when sufficient breath sample is obtained (after about 5 seconds), then the result will appear in the digital display. Results read from zero tolerance all the way up to several times over the legal drink drive limit in the UK. The result is expressed as % blood alcohol concentration or %BAC, so it is suitable for use in any country or jurisdiction. Overall, an ideal portable personal breathalyzer machine.

I won't vote but IF you think you might be over the limit to drink then you really shouldn't be driving.

Marketplace seller, but still free delivery..

Don't drink and drive - it is as simple as that.

Don't want to get on the soapbox, but anyone that drinks and drives (and needs one of these) is totally irresponsible in the first place. These things are WAY unreliable, so I hope anyone that buys them gets well and truly caught over the limit and loses their licence.

Simplest way not to get caught... DON'T drink and drive!

I sincerely hope someone only uses this the next day to be sure they are ok to drive after a period of many many hours after a night out.

I hate drink drivers.

This seems like a decent price for reassurance that you are below the legal limit and not at risk of getting caught.
Everyone seems to be at outrage that this exists but come on folks do you really think this is marketed at the hardcore alky that has 5 pints then drives home? No its for the morning after when you really don t know how long you should be waiting before getting in the car even if you have had a full nights sleep and plenty of water and food.

I never have and never would drink drive, but Morrisons Petrol Station were selling disposable versions of these for a fiver.....

Two points:

First - more fool you if you think these things give you ANY reassurance that you're under (or even remotely near) the limit. Most devices on the market were tested before Christmas, and featured heavily in the press, proving they were WILDLY off the mark, virtually consistently.

Second - we all know who they're marketed at - the idiots who think they're ok just because it's the morning after.

Well said 1982. Great for the next day when you want to be sure it's out of your system before dirving

Stop drinking at least 8 hours before you need to drive. it's not exactly rocket science and driving a car comes with a level of responsibility.

If you finish drinking at 4am on a Sunday morning then I can't think of any way you'e be over the limit at 7am on Monday morning.

I'll use some common sense and save myself th cash on one of these by just being responsible.
