great game, got the PC version from steam sales just below 7 quids including american nightmare and surprisingly I have lots of fun with it.

Why would that be a surprise? Top developer, well reviewed, well written. Of course you had fun with it.

yea, another fact is the door sounds resemble the ones on max payne series coz It's the same developer lol

One of my favorite games! Great price

Alongside the first BioShock, this is one of Xbox 360's most memorable single-player games.

i'll pick it up on my way home from work...loved this game and want to play it again...

PS picked up new American Nightmare in the sales...what would you say was better?

American Nightmare is nothing special. It's just like a mod from the original game. Lame story but with better weapons, and it features arcade mode.

The in game product placement really damaged this game for me.

It broke the atmosphere quite a bit.

Just playing through it now, good game and a decent price!!

Brilliant game, steal at this price

pretty sure i got it for £5 from morrisons last year. good game tho

The game seemed to get an average review across the board but I thoroughly enjoyed the story mode - utterly polished from start to finish.
A special note about the graphics - stunning game to look at throughout. A very creepy game, looks superb at all times.
If the DLC is The Writer and The Signal, I have both and they're pretty good, but very similar to the main story really. If you can pick them up in an Xbox DLC sale for 50% off then they're probably worth it but not really neccessary.

£7 - no brainer, play it , enjoy and appreciate it then sell it for close to what you paid for it.

Good game - instantly identifiable as being by Remedy. Their games always have a certain atmosphere that I bet is missing from Max Payne 3 - waiting for that one to drop in price.

It is, really shame. I didn't enjoy MP3 but I played 1&2 over in the release run up. I think Id have enjoyed it a little more if I went in without expecting a sequel to those games.

Love this game.

However, one night you will find yourself walking along the street. As you approach a street light, it will flicker and die. And you will be afraid. Very afraid.

great game, worth £7

just checked the morrisons i work near during lunch break and nothing ...will check my local on the way home

Picked this up earlier today

Excellent game, underrated and gets far less attention than **** like Halo. Shame.

Paid £5 for this in Morrisons last year. Glad I didn't pay any more, it's the only game I've started and quickly got fed up of.

OK, just got myself a copy. Hope its as good as you folks say. Most games bore me and remain unfinished.

Thanks OP. I've been wanting to try this game for ages. Just grabbed the last copy (well, last on the shelf anyway) from my local branch. They also had Metro 2033 and Crackdown for £7, which both tempted me.

Note also comes with a code for DL content. Sommat called Siren or Signal :3. Its a few 100Mb so its not a piddly little thing.

I like Alan Wake. The game is somewhat repetitive but the quality of the graphics and overall presentation make up for that.
Did you get Crackdown 1 or 2 for £7 because that seems a bit expensive for either, but especially number 1.
Metro is often £4.99 at Zavvi or The Hut. I bought it at that price a few months ago. Quite a good game!

It was Crackdown 1, although I only bought Alan Wake. I haven't bought any games for ages, so I'm massively out of touch with the pricing. I didn't even realise you get any half-decent titles for £4.99! I might have to have a scout around now to see what some of the other games I've missed are going for.
