Was looking for a cheep stool as a spare chair for around the dinner table and found this one for a reasonable price to serve the purpose and can be easily stored away in the cupboard and comes with a 2 year Manufacture warranty.

Don't necessarily trust the weight indicator as the metal fatigues easily and don't sit on this with your fingers gripping the underneath at the left & right side.

I think the key thing is to keep you fingers away from the hinges when folding but I see your point

I had one collapse on me when sitting on this model @ 14st7 and I nearly lost all my fingers.

The drill holes for pivots weaken the metal
