Ive given heat but why do you need a seperate alarm clock if you have a phone. Just get a small wireless charger.

So you can look at the time without touching your phone.

Might have left your phone downstairs and go to bed knowing you’ll still get up in time for work

Some people switch their phones during the night to save on battery and make them last longer. Some others do not have always on display, sometimes when you wake up you want to see what time is it. I have always on display on my phone, but prior to this, I had a clock in the room, do not fancy to wake up during the night and press on phone to check the time.

Each to their own, if you find it useful then go for it. Ive been using my phone on a wireless charger for probably 5 years and never had an issue.

But you do have 'always on display' isn't it? You don't have to press on your phone, to check the time.
Anyone already got one of these? Can you charge a phone in a plastic case?

Phone alarms work when phones are switched off. Even Nokia 3310 did this

Thanks! I was aware the old ones did this, for some reasons I thought the smart ones don't. I may give it a try with my wife's phone, she switches hers off. I leave mine on, I have always display on and want to see the time when I wake up during the night.

I remember it worked on Symbian on Nokia phones but I actually don't think it works on most Android phones. Even the official page for Samsung is ambiguous on this feature samsung.com/nz/…ff/
Just ordered thanks looks really good xx

I have a Huawei P30 Pro in a Spigen case, while I do not own this I own various Qi chargers for my car or in the house, and they all work fine through the case, but thicker cases may cause issues. Same with my wife she has an iPhone XR Swarovski Case with Crystals but the case is plastic, and again that charges fine too.

It works on Huawei Phones, It works as a timer and turns the phone back on 1 minute prior to the alarm sounding, It gives you the option when shutting your phone down to also disable this too.

Came yesterday, it’s so bright you could make hand shadow puppets with it on the ceiling when it isn’t even facing the ceiling. You can turn the screen off but then if you want to tell the time you need to press a button which will wake anyone else in the room as it beeps loudly.
It weighs about the same as a Jacobs cream cracker.
The instructions are crap and wrong.
Comes without a charger, don’t just plug any old charger into it as it needs at least a 1amp supply and instructions say using one of lower power could cause a fire. Looking at the design and build quality I’d say it probably is a fire hazard.
one of the two units I received screen even pulses when illuminated.
