Can't find another 19incher under £100, hot hot deal!

and don't forgot the £1 topcashback for reserve and pick up

It's a good price, but unlike most LCD TVs it doesn't have a PC input and one of the reviews says that it is actually 18.5 " not 19".

Could be conected to a PC that has a HDMI gfx card installed though.

Most PC's will have either dvi or hdmi out by now, and reviews are very good. £10 voucher and 3 months payment vacation if paid with an Argos card - probably will go for it. One can never have enough number of tv's at home

Nice!

Lack of a power off button is a deal-breaker for me. It might only use 1W but since I will only be using it 3-4 hours a week it is immoral to have it burning away pointlessly for the other 165. I am not prepared to scramble under furniture to reach for the wall socket in order to get past what is a ridiculous design shortcoming.

This may be a really dumb question*, but can I connect my Dell PC to it with this gfx card installed?

(*Although if so, I'm sticking to the "no such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer" principle)

You can still get the £99 19 inch from Sainsburys that has a built in DVD player

20p for a lightbulb?

Energy Saving, and Philips branded too!!

I got 2, 2 days ago!

hot price, i paid £90 quid couple yrs ago for 14" crt, that turned out crap, this is great deal:thumbsup:

There may be a few LCD TVs with Built in Freeview going cheap soon following the announcement of Freeview HD going live this year.

I assume that the built in freeview on most current TVs wont be Freeview HD compatable even though the TV is HD ready !

You'd still need a Freeview HD box to watch Freeview HD.

Looking at the specs in the link you posted I'd say YES....I think :?

Cracking deal!

I dont think so. It doesnt say 'VGA input' so chances are, it wont have one.
However, there may be a VGA to HDMI cable on the market that might help you out there. But that would require you unplug whatever is in the HDMI port to put the PC/Laptop in.

Just bought one today and yes it has a PC socket on the back .. Pretty good bargin good picture and sound.

Just bought one I can confirm it has a VGA input and also it has a headphone jack.

Nice one, thanks to all. Can't beat this site really.

Would it be better to get a decent branded Toshiba one for £50 more? In other words, is this pearls before swine?

And do you get your £10 voucher?

sorry to sound a bit thick - has this tv got freeview? thanks x

Yes it does mate.

thank you xxx

Heat added , bought my mother in law a 19in lcd from argos a couple of months ago and it cost about £130 . Pity her birthday wasn't in April

Hi

Sorry for being a bit thick but is the OP saying that you get a £10 voucher when you buy the bulb and TV or that you use one of the codes to reduce the price.

If you do use the codes, which on eis it and are they valid for collect at store.

Thanks

You get £10 voucher, if you buy anything over £100.
Since is the TV is only £99.99 add light bulb £0.20, to be eligble for £10 voucher.

Thanks Raj75

Just nipped out and bought one. The TV has a 1 scart, 1 HDMI, VGA and composite in (so could be 2 scart inputs with adapter) plus headphone connector.

I have just hookedit up to my netbook and works a treat.

Many thanks to OP.

Instore or online ??

instore and we only really need one, so one is going back unless anyone on here wants it for £99, collect from Leeds or pay postage costs

Got one today for the new kitchen/diner, not going to be hooking it up until all the decorating has been finished but I hope it is as good as some of the reviews on Argos suggest.

its back up to £149.99 :0(
