Never mind the branding. These are potatoes. Just potatoes. But sold at a higher price because gullible people will always pay more for a name on a label.

With you entirely on potato varieties and Rooster's a decent enough all-rounder. I prefer Marfona, but that's a matter of choice. You'll see, though, that what I referred to was branding.

Fair point. But you were slightly ranting that any branded potatoes were bad. But I would pay £1.30 if wanted them for something special. I wouldn't pay £2.60 for general use.

I made some fantastic chips with these yesterday.
