Free on vodafone but must topup £10. You can get vodafones basic tariff and then in 6 months time use it to get another phone without topping up. If you already have a vodafone pay as you go then you can get this for free!

Easy to use
With a small design that sits comfortably in one hand and a traditional 12-key phone pad, the Alcatel 10.16 is easy to use. The buttons are easy to press and everything is intuitive to use, so you can just pick up the phone and go.

Listen to music everywhere
The Alcatel 10.16 has a built-in FM radio so you can listen to your favourite music and get the latest news while on the move.

Handy tools
With a phone book, calendar, currency convertor, alarm clock, torch and fake call function, the Alcatel 10.16 is loaded with useful tools. It’s a small smartphone that’ll make life easier.

Not even worth £0 so basic and crap

I disagree. I would much rather my son, niece, whoever take this kind of phone to school / out with them on a night out, rather than some daft expensive one that could get damaged, stolen etc. Keep their good phone safe at home.
Also, it's a decent phone for someone who wants just a mobile phone rather than an all singing, all dancing pocket computer that also happens to be a phone too.

Can also he had on EE & O2, same way, no top up for £2.99 if vodafone is no good in your area
£0 is exactly what this phone is worth, it doesn't even have predictive text, however remember that it does come with a micro usb charger. I had one because it was the cheapest I could find having forgotten my phone one day.

There are still people who are happy to use a phone as a phone, rather than the attention-sucking faff-machines they are today. The only reason I still have a smart phone is cos I use WhatsApp a lot for messaging friends and relatives abroad. The sooner someone puts it on a bare-basic phone like this the better as far as I'm concerned.
How can be get for free
I tried to buy,it dosnt work, when you cheak out there is error message,
10.16g
Wow that's light.
is it locked to VF or can it be used on other networks. could be a good phone to use abroad with a pay as you go SIM wherever you go.
Great basic phone, but I got for 5.99 from O2 and 0.99 for unlocking via ebay. Simply worth it. Battery lasts a week on standby

And they say it's the kids who are 'entitled'
LOL at the 'this phone is worth £0'. Does it not phone? Like a phone is supposed to....phone?

Interesting viewpoint.

The amusing thing is that before they evolved into mp3 players that could access the Internet, I viewed mobile phones more as attention seeking devices than I do now. But maybe that's because up until that point they were of little interest to me.
£2.99 on O2. That's a bit steep. My last three CPW PAYG O2 upgrades for various basic phones have cost me £1.87, 99p and 99p. Must be Brexit.
