You end up buying this argos.co.uk/pro…917

Total cost is £14.99 as you need to buy £10 airtime, and that £10 is used to buy a talk and text pack that lasts a month.
Don't trust EE. Plusnet use them. I have a plusnet cheapie monthly contract - I bought an unlocked iPhone and put the plusnet sim in, got a better phone, put the plusnet in that, and was going to give the iphone to a friend but all of a sudden I find the iphone's locked - I phoned plusnet and they won't help. Even blaming Apple for God's sake

I've been with Plusnet for months and haven't had too many problems. Sometimes messages don't always send first time, but for value they are hard to beat. I get unlimited texts/calls and 3gb data for £6.30 per month.

Your iPhone may have been set up to lock on the SIM. It won't be the networks fault.

Some phones are configured to lock to the company of the first SIM with which they are used.

Providing you were never informed, your issue is with whoever sold you an unsatisfactory mobile.

Sounds like you may have a lost / stolen phone that has been blocked. If that’s the case it’s not the fault of the network

No, it's been bought from Curry's. Also EE apparently known for DOING this, after checking on Google

No, the iPhone was brand new. It had an O2 sim in at first briefly, was changed for the Plusnet with no problem. Problem started after the Plusnet
