OUT OF STOCK....Again

Stock was there since 11:00 today morning. Now OOS.
Best add the item to Basket and keep refreshing.

This deal has been posted 3 times in last 3 weeks. I had updated the previous thread, when stock came up.

Just managed to grab one, thanks OP. Missed it last time around

Just bagged one. Was showing out of stock but refreshed my shopping cart and came in stock again.

These can only be unlocked by O2 currently. Check past Idol3 deals for info (2527720, 2531359, 2535251)

Not a bad deal. Managed to get one this time round. Stick in a Giffgaff sim. Ive used Giffgaff in Malaysia and various other countries and texts were cheap so no worries about unlocking. Would only use as a second phone tho.

No. Put my monthly o2 sim the Alcatel, went online to o2 website where my phone was recognised under my monthly account, requested an unlock and then removed my sim, switched the phone off and put the sim back in the phone I use normally. A text arrived 2 days later with the unlock code.

This one is bloody brilliant, mine arrived practically new and just unlocked it today. As long as you don't expect the world then I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

It goes in and out of stock often. Got one last night. Had to refresh basket for a few minutes.

Create a shortcut on your desktop with this url:

o2.co.uk/sho…rid

It's a shortcut to basket with an Idol3 and PAYG SIM already - just click the blue "Go to basket" button and refresh. Past few weeks more stock became available on Thursday or Friday mornings. Not sure if this was coincidence.

also be aware these DONT come with wall chargers

O2 site now says "No longer available". Used to just say out of stock. I guess O2 won't be selling more then.

Can someone help me please, I cant install more than 8 apps as it says memory full...K installed a 16gb micro sd card though?

Hi. If you go into settings, some apps can be moved to SD card. Usually it's just partially, as parts need to stay in the internal storage. This should give you a bit more room.

Ok. I think I've heard this phone is updateable to android 6 marshmallow. If you look into it online you should find whether it's possible and guides on how to perform it.
Marshmallow introduced a feature called 'adoptable storage' which allows you to integrate an SD card into the internal memory, so they are merged as one I believe.

*Seems the UK version may not be updatable to marshmallow. See comments here hotukdeals.com/dea…720
Also in these comments is the possibility that your device may actually have a 16gb internal memory which has been formatted as 8gb. So worth going through the steps in the guides linked just in case you're in luck!
