Been looking for a reasonably priced phone with decent front facing speakers and will prob go for the better specced 5.5, but this is very tempting from a sound UK seller. Nectar points too!

Excellent phone for the price, but I have the same problem. When I contacted Alcatel customer support they blame my network settings but I've had no problem with the same sim card in a Moto E. Has anybody got the wireless hotspot to work on this phone?

Glad you mention this as without hotspot it's no good to me either. Is it the same for both models?

Are both phones running Android Lollipop? There's a known Lollipop-related tethering issue that can be resolved, and there's no mention of any specific Alcatel tethering problem on the XDA developer forum.

Anyway, the website's now showing out of stock for this phone.

Note to self put glasses on when reading HDUK on phone. I read Alcatel one touch IDIOT 3, lol

Tis probably all the cold voters slyly nipping of and buying it before it whent;)

Sorry, for less you could get a second gen Moto G looking around with a bigger screen and near upgrade to marshmallow (or a 3rd gen Moto G for same price). No reason to get this at all.

Then I'd get the second Moto G for less money! They went down to a single (reasonable sounding according to reviews) speaker on the 3rd gen,

Apologies, hadn't realised 2nd gen had stereo speakers, but can't find it cheaper anywhere, needs to be 4G and usable with a 3 sim. Tesco deal on here links to moto E.

My local tesco were clearing them out at £69.50 the other day but I expect stock has gone now wherever they had them. Can definitely get on eBay under £100 though, maybe Amazon too?
