Not the best phone in the world (by a long way) But a cheap and cheerful stopgap in any case. ALSO AVAILABLE IN STORE. Bought one this morning and spent an hour trying to find an unlock code. Then remembered there was an Orange network sticker over the "Do not open" seal. And the seal was broken. Put a T-Mobile sim in and - hey presto - it works just great.

Oh and the customary message - first post so be nice to me please

Not in my experience - their website never works for upgrades. Also I looked at the Y300 & it seems quite large for having a 4" screen (very large bezels IMHO).

By the way this is £45 instore at EE on either t-mobile or orange, but you must buy a £10 top-up - if you fancy Orange Wednesdays, could be a better deal. Also available online from orange with some cashback.

EDIT: For unlock codes you may want to check eBay item 141090670504. My understanding is that t-mobile/orange/EE locked phones will work with a sim of any of those networks (note that I am not 100% certain).
