I bought my son one after he broke his previous smartphone.
It's an awful phone, even for free.
Not surprised therr giving them away
Not free then. £20.
May be OK as a mifi or mp3 player, but limited use as a smartphone. I have one, somewhere.
Can't imagine many Web pages will look great on a 320x480 screen.

EDIT: I stand corrected, HUKD works pretty well at 320x480 resolution, check it out!

maybe more are partaking in a bit of lateral thinking, £20 for a new mifi or usb 4g modem seems a deal to me
I don't think this one is 4g. It'd be great if it was, to use as a mifi
In a nutshell.

Horrible phone, almost unusable.
99p unlock on eBay.
Cex buys for £19
Use the £20 SIM credit for Google Play purchases, net cost £2 after a bit of faffing.
Also worth checking if Quidco or tcb.
Anyone who has this.... Is wuntu app available on this?

Totally agree. Utter garbage.

I paid a quid + £20 top up, but ended getting rid and getting him a "Doogee" instead.

Top be precise, it was a "DOOGEE X5 Max Pro" which is 4G and SIM-Free, with 5" HD IPS Display, 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and Android 6.0. It even has a fingerprint scanner.

Obviously not the best phone in the world, but great specification for £63.

4000mAh, but not sure how long it lasts in real world use as my son only uses it for games and the odd phone call. I'd guess at a day or so.
