Seems like a lot of box for £14.99, with both wheels and lid. Will use one as a toybox if my local has any left/in when I get there. Size Approx. 94 x 52 x 45cm

My Goodness! Some part of of my distant memory remembers this, and is probably a cause of childhood traumatism! oO lol
No, it has to stay in the kitchen.
Hot, you can never have enough storage. Just hope it will fit through loft hatch.
Isn't it weird that the Aldi one although smaller in volume looks more robust, or is that just the pictures?

Is that instore only add can't find online?
No specialbuys here, just a shed load of Old El Paso stuff left over from last Sunday, Aldi's excuse "we don't have any room!" oO
Good deal!

What's it like sound proof wise? Thinking of getting one for when the Mother-in-law visits...
This will become the home of my 16 year old now that he flopped his GCSEs like I said he would.

At 6 feet, I would think it's pretty good.
Picked one up this morning. Great quality. Not the biggest box but will last longer than those you find for around £30. Heat

Is it sit-able upon? in your opinion (without sitting on it! lol) thanks.
Had a look at this. Is much stronger & better quality than the £15 keter b&q one, the inclusion of the wheelwells inside mean that it's just too small for what I needed, whereas the former is the right size. Just for recycling storage so robust isn't that much of an issue.
If it were for general storage or camping etc I'd recommend the aldi one over the b&q one.
The Keter ones are generally flat packed and, mine at least, have fallen apart. These Aldi ones are a moulded one piece base with a removable lid so are much more sturdy. I just bought 3, thanks very much op! I've been looking for something like this for months and almost spent £80 per trunk so I'm glad I waited! P.S. They are lockable with 2 loops (for padlocks) on opposite corners

Could these fit a body? And if so, and they strong enough to stop a live person escaping?
Looks pretty good for the price

Maybe a strange question. But does anyone know whether these can be stacked one on top of the other or even inside each other ?
Edited by: "simon1964" 20th Aug 2015
They are stackable. The wheels sit securely in the one underneath. They also sit inside one another.

Thanks. I'll just have to hope my local aldi has more than one in stock.
Just been in Aldi, don't need one but it looks pretty robust. The BM one I have but is for a different purpose really (I use it outside for recycling stuff). Aldi one better for heavy stuff like books/toys etc.
yes I have mine in the back garden,so far so good!
