Anyone know if it's any good?
werent these previously known as halogen oven?
this is a halogen oven with a ring on top which has holes in it .I've got one they kinda work ok buit to be honest ive stopped using the ring now as cant see any differance in making healthy chips ,i just spray with oil n put in the top shelf of the halogen oven .Ive no experience of the other air fryers but like i said this is a halogen oven with an extra ring on top good price though .the one i bought is now being marketed as 'having a fruit dryer' lol

Yes. This is a really bad con from Aldi. Bad because they obviously think we are so stupid that we will fall for this rebranding PR con. The price is OK, but nothing special. The guarantee singles it out, but check with Aldi as they have in the past said, after the first year you have to return these kind of products to the non UK based manufacturers at your own cost. If you still think it's worth returning, be prepared to wait 2-3 months before you get a replacement.
I've had an Aldi halogen oven for the past three years that is in almost daily use (hardly use my main oven these days). So if this is the same supplier then I think three years for £30 is pretty good value if you are in the market for a halogen oven ... or an air fryer
I wondered whether to buy this Airfryer from Aldi. Seems amazingly cheap. I mainly would like it for frying things like chips. My husband cannot live without chips with meals, and I feel I should provide a healthier option than deep fat frying. Would this do the job? Open to any helpful suggestions. Many thanks from Maureen

have a read at the comments above its a halogen oven with a ring attachment .i have one they kinda work although easiest bet to make healthy chips is par boil cut in to wedges spray or toss with a tablespoon of oil some celery salt n some paprika then bake scrummy and just as nice as fried chips .Good price for a halogen oven though !
I have just bought one of these on the kitchen special buy day. Went to three Aldi's before I got one and was over the moon. I have tried it for the first time tonight and yes it most definitely is a halogen oven. There was no recipe book and it took 40 minutes to cook. They were patchy brown and white, tasted like roast potatoes and were disappointing. I wanted an air fryer NOT a halogen oven. Yes, I was fooled by this rebranding, but now I know what it is will use it accordingly.I am not going to return it as it was only £29.99 but do feel conned.
I bought the air fryer/Halogen oven today. As long as it does both things I have no problem. I have done two lots of chips as I feel you, need to test things out a bit. We had the first lot which were not bad. The second lot were better though. I bought it for a healthier lifestyle as my husband is diabetic. My granddaughter had the second lot and really enjoyed them. Good value. And is safer than a chip pan.
How can I get one to buy
I've bought one and that's why it's a 2in 1, it's a halogen and an air fryer. If you look at debenhams they do exactly the same model by tower for £60 in the sale. It's great the air flow comes from the vented holes along with the halogen heater system
have one for years.brilliant .now I just bought the fryer two going togeather no need to wait for 10 min for oven to heat up.

I think they are halogen ovens
Just bought the air fryer from Aldi on the opening day in Poynton. So far I have done chips (I pre boiled them) . They were very good, normally I would do the same way of cooking them but in the oven. So saved using a lot of electricity having to heat up and use a large oven.
Second attempt was chicken thighs - absolutely great, skin crispy and juicy meat.
What tomorrow , chicken Kiev I think! So far I think this is a great gadget.
These are coming back to Aldi tomorrow, does anyone know if there is a recipe book enclosed.
We have just bought one and it does say on the box "recipes included" it doesnt say a book, there are a couple of recipes in the instruction booklet on page 9.
I am so tempted to buy this 2 in 1 airfryer or halogen oven. Is it good? I am so indecisive, Has it worked well for you? Thanks
I bought one of these 2 days ago and am really disappointed with what is actually a halogen oven. The potato wedges took 40mins to cook and didn't taste particularly great - there were 3-4 meat-based recipes in the rather sparse instruction booklet which isn't that good for vegetarians like myself. The very bright light made it hard to look at the progress of food cooking - I am taking mine back to ask for a refund as I feel the product is misrepresented as an 'air fryer'!!
Bought one last night and tried it out. Well it fizzled and smoke poured out of it the halogen element had burnt out, so had to take it back to be exchanged. I hope it was just a faulty one I had.
    Used it once. Its great
We decided to buy one of these Aldi 2in1 Air Fryers today. For someone who as never used one before the instruction booklet doesn't really give you much information on cooking food !! Once we had set the Air fryer up and turned it on the light is So bright it hurt our eyes !!! ( I thought the aliens had landed)
Can anyone advise me as to where or how i could locate a user manual for 2 in 1 air fryer (halogen oven) make:- "Ambiano"
