Cracking price, i just paid 79.99 for a similar one from screwfix but less power. 3 yr gaurantee as well makes this super attractive

Wonder if these are Karchers again, layout of outlets and on/off similar placed to my Powercraft one and that was made by Karcher but Aldi switched to a cheaper Chinese version the last couple of years

Just bought one... its PowerCraft. Thanks OP

Of course it's Powercraft, that's the "Brand" they put on stuff from Aldi!

We all know that, but as the previous purchaser commented is it a Karcher manufactured model as some previous ones were, or is it a cheaper Chinese made model as more recent ones have been?
I would add, is it an INDUCTION motor as earlier 2 and 2.2Kw models were too?

How would you know, and what makes an induction motor better?

They usually shout about it on the packaging, as it's a sign of better quality, if it's not, they don't say a word normally!
Lots of advice on the net, eg.
express-cleaning-supplies.co.uk/buy…tml

These look very much like rebranded Karcher's again based on phone number and web link on the box too.

IIRC the version I bought when they were Karchers, just before they switched to the Blue Chinese ones etc, was widely touted as having an induction motor - but I do not believe it said so on the box.

If it comes with a rotary brush, chuck the rotary brush in the bin IMHO. Oh, and don't use the dirt blaster on your car unless you like to make your car silver

The only Karchers I can find with a 2.2kw motor are expensive commercial machines google.co.uk/search?q=karcher+2.2kw&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a#q=karcher+2.2kw&hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=ko3&sa=X&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&biw=1366&bih=606&tbs=p_ord:p&tbm=shop&prmd=ivns&ei=7ebCTafwG8-r8AOXzKzVBQ&ved=0CAoQuw0oAQ&fp=979f83dd7db9c2ef but they have better flow and pressure specs than this machine.

The rotary brush that came with mine was useless too... but the patio cleaner is very good, it surprised me how effective it can be, even on fairly thick moss, however I didn't pay anything like the price they are now!

The 3 year guarantee is excellent. Mine has been back for repair 4 times. They pickup and deliver it using a courier. It comes back in a Karcher box ;-)

Mine is pulsing with 1 month left of warranty so I applied pressure on Aldi due to the fact that it has been repaired 4 times already and has only 1 month left of the warranty. They have agreed to send me a brand spanking new washer. No warranty though.

So, I would recommend this based on the fact that it IS a Karcher and has a 3 year warranty as opposed to the 1 year that you get with the Karcher branded equipment.

I agree the Karcher warranty is excellent, reported mine faulty on a Monday, Picked up Tuesday and returned on Thursday !

Mine also pulsated, think its a common problem

its all very well saying is it this or is it that but is it any good?
