I wouldn't have thought so.

To be fair its good for the price. Aldi products though ive sent back a few though they replace pretty much hassle free only in my experience though.

720p & 1080p are both HD-Ready... (I'll stop being a pedant now...)

There would be little benefit at this screen size.

"Resolution: 1366 (H) × 768 (V)"
so not 1080p

why do people who want the highest quality go for the cheapest things? Doesnt add up here.

might just get this as there doesn't seem to be any sign of my cheap 22" tv coming from pixmania....

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't buy a TV under 32" in size that is 1080p as there would be no noticiable benefit when you looked at the picture? :?

A cheap deal for a 26" LCD, and you get a 3 Year Warranty as well.
Returned a faulty DVD Player after a month to Aldi once.
No problem at all getting a refund.

The only good thing about this offer is the Aldi 12 months return and refund policy. Everything else is average to bad.

- Bad viewing angles
- USB doesn't support video (what is the point of MP3 on a TV?)
- Medion (very bad CS, the 3-year warranty a joke)

Cold from me.

Please can you point me towards a better deal for a 26" LCD freeview TV for this sort of price then?

A little cold tbh (but not voted)... bought a 27" Acoustic Solutions from Argos late last year (about Oct time) for less than £200.
Good warranty on this product but not a "Hot deal".

I paid about £40 more for a 37" last June... maybe that was a one off, but I thought you could get a 37" for under 300 still?

Would be ok for the kitchen might go for it.

I also got the 26" AS from Argos before Christmas for £199 and is very good. It's not that price now though, but for just a tad over £20 more this has the 3 year warranty which mine does not have, so all in all this is good value for the money so I'll vote hot

Scratch that wont fit under our units had a quick look around might go for this :

Price is NOT that good as per my and others previous posts.
Hell I did a search in google for "26" LCD" and found one for less than £160 with limited connections but still...

Less than £160? Where?

Please try again. I can't see it.

Thank you. But it's out of stock.

Richers Sounds had 26" LCD's in their clearance sale for under £200, included LG's and Sony's too!

Not hot. 32 inch sony for £300 puts this deal to shame(Richer Sounds in Jan)
You can get bigger and better TV's for just a little more than this now

The Aldi helpline and 3yr warranty is a joke. I bought a Tevion PC Mouse last year which is now faulty. The staff don't want to know because I've had it 13 months. The warrany card that came with it, on the back of the mouse and on the Aldi website is a UK phone no. 0800 324976 - problem is it's in German.

They pass you from phone no. to phone no. Tevion telling you that Medion deal with Tevion stuff. I called eight 0870 numbers Saturday(Free - BT) and wasting 2hrs of my time.

I managed to find my local Aldi phone no., they are supposed to call me back today (yeah right)

Nice friendly tv ads -> customer service -> non-existent.

Wrong
'HD-ready' is not about resolutions but about its ability to display a picture from a HD source.
1080p is not HD ready, it is HD. 1080i is not
720p is HD bit lower resolution HD than 1080p

Barely any stores have stock of them and what they did have in mine was ex-loan with no remote, manual etc.

Also for the people mentioning you can get 32" for £300, this is a 26"...some people might not have room for a 32" or want that size.

For a 26" Tv this seems like a pretty good deal, the only things close to it are the A/S from argos which is about £20 more or the Vistron from ebuyer for about £30 less.

Looks like a piece of tat. Out of stock. Also not new:
This item is classed as new(Tested & repacked in orginal box,,,ex-display or store return item in excellent condition and without any major blemishes, may have a few scuff marks or scratches on the back and sides but nothing on the front) with a 6 months warranty and a 14 day no quibble return policy in case you change your mind. (minus 9.99 for postage)
Not really a 'like for like' comparison.

anybody got one of the ebuyer/vistron 26 inchers? 26 is the max size i'm looking for and i'm tempted by this deal or the ebuyer one...
