Anyone know if this will be any good? It's hellava cheap for a 5 person tent.

Yeah had one if you poke your head out when it's raining you get wet

That's modern life for you! A 5-man family.

Had a quick look at it in the store this morning. Looks OK, similar in quality to the tents from go outdoors. Should be fine for weekend camping though as usual with measuring tents, 5 seems optimistic. Also you will probably need to replace the pegs, they seemed especially flimsy. Overall, very cheap for what you are getting.

Does anyone know if this has a sown in ground sheet?

supprised this didn't get much hotter

Any feedback on this tent? Stuck between this and spending more on a Vango Da Vinci. Also any suggestions for an extension/awning/canopy that might fit it?
Any advice appreciated!

Do not bother with this one, spend more and get better quality. This is fine for kids in the garden. No chance of putting it up when windy.

I have just returned this tent to Aldi. Second camping trip and it drizzled the whole night - woke up to a completely wet tent. The rain was actually dripping through the ceiling (as well as all the puddles on the floor as the ground sheet isn't sewn in). I definitely don't recommend!! Real shame is it was a good size, price, easy to put up. I'm now considering the Gobi Elite 4 or Da Vinci 500 as possible replacements...

Just got back from Cornwall and had the same trouble with the tent leaking even when it just drizzled. We ended up with big puddles when we had a heavy down pour last night and everything got wet in the living area. At least is was dry in the sleeping part. It is a shame as we really like the design. We will be taking it back tomorrow.

Abandoned the night - rain dripping in. Dry use only!

Thanks for your feedback, I confess I chickened out and returned it before trying it. Looking at Vango langley or similar now. Sorry for your disappointing trips!

I had this tent two years ago, been used twice. Had a terrific thunder storm and torrential rain. The tent was ace. Never had a drop come in. Having to sell now as me old joints too old for the putting up and taking down tents. Going for an airbeam.
