Hot!

Bought one of these a couple of years ago, useful tool, especially for getting into tight spots where a normal saw won't go, but the blades that came with it weren't great so I replaced them with Bosch ones, much better. Heat given.

How long would this take to cut through bone?

My dog is really small & bones are too big, nothing suspicious at all

What other uses for these?

I'm always tempted by one, but can never think of many uses where a hand saw or jigsaw wouldn't be better.

...cuts through bone about 6 seconds for a human (sized) femur.....nothing suspicious here either (_;)

because the blades are flexible you can get right under a nut and cut it off if you need too,or you can get them into very tight spaces where you would have no room to saw.

You need to loosen the 2 shoe locking screws quite a way back, then the shoe adjusts.

Am i right in thinking the shoe should move in and out?? I've went to the extreme of removing the screws all together and I still cant get the shoe to move. Thinking I may have a faulty one!

That's right, the shoe moves in and out on the slot you see in the inside of the shoe.
