Similar prices to Waitrose, and more pricey than Asda...give over Aldi!
'Exquisite Valpolicella Ripasso' should be good.
Really struggle to find a decent supermarket red but I will give a few of these ago.

Comparitively, they are way cheaper than Waitrose for the quality of wine. Their buyer clearly knows his/her stuff.

disagree, they are comparatively similarly priced for wine, but not as good.

So you're merely opining then, I got the impression from your arrogance it a factual assertion, then later I read your username and it was all clear.

Asda does have some good prices. I also rate Aldi wines; mostly very good & very good value but not perfect. Recently one red touted as a cheap 'Amarone' was just too sweet for me; that in my mind was a poor wine.

I buy wine from both these supermarkets. As always I would try a wine once before buying multiple bottles of it.
