They are tiny - look at the image of them threaded onto sticks.

Nice idea though, and love that the process will all go to charity.

Shame was going to buy several and give to my care home. residents love getting crafty but will find small balls rather fiddly

Thanks, I think I bought the last one of the hearts as out of stock online now and so are the round ones

Those sticks are in fact tree trunks. The scale is all over the place.

Have some heat. Nice deal.

Great idea thanks op .... and a Merry Christmas to you all :-)

100% of profit isnt a lot if the profit on each pack is 1 penny.

Also why not round it up to £2 if its for charity?

cold - worst charity ever to support - Why on earth did barnardo's close down about 1000 childrens homes after the "childrens act" come into force??...........

For the first time in 1946, children were acknowledged as the nation's
responsibility. A report paved the way for the Children's Act of 1948,
which placed the duty of caring for homeless children and those in need
on local authorities. Barnardo's still do a great deal of good work for vulnerable children and families.

You just stick to your -2 degree pizza deals.

Not giving to Barnados as they waste a huge chunk of money holding fundraising nights and giving away more in gifts to those businesses that end up in bins than they get in donations from them. Total waste of money and resources.

The last Barnardos kids home closed long before 1989. Why do you think they closed them down?

Whats your evidence for this? Genuinely interested.

wonder what the profit is after deducting free delivery?

I was thiking exactly the same thing. The same thing that s driving this as a bargain, is actually massively reducing the profits Aldi and thus Barnado will make from this.

I would say buy in store if you can.

i've first hand experience with them and this wasn't my impression. But i guess first impressions count. Bear in mind Barnardos provide services. The gifts are almost exclusively donated to them TO give away. Barnardos are not a council, they are not "responsible" for children, but they mediate and help place many children, many of who are difficult to place as they require specialist care. Just my two pennies. Each to their own of course. This is of course HotUK Opinions

My 2 best friends are alive because of Barnardos. They help vulnerable children, repair the damage done to them and enable them to not just get by but to achieve their full potential. Keep your disrespect to yourself you horrible excuses for human beings.

I bought 20 boxes of these, nice stocking fillers for friends.

Donating £30 would have been a far better option. they'll be lucky to see £3 of what you spent.
