Aldi "Bikemate" Tool Bag £4.99

Found 5th May 2016
Aldi have been offering this since Sunday so it may be stores specific now, I live a couple of towns over and managed to pick one up plenty in the deals area at Aldi, initially went to pick up something else but this seemed good value for money,

1x Under Saddle Bag
1x Basic folding tool
2x Box spanners including. Spoke keys
Tyre levers
Puncture repair kit

Obviously it isn't going to be the best but for a fiver it certainly appears to be good quality and it saves having to put everything in your jersey, bag initially seems large enough for at least one tube and levers and I also bought some CO2 cartridges that will also fit.

Please remember this is an Aldi Special Buy so some stores may be OOS.

Sorry I hit cold by accident, I picked one up at the weekend with the gloves and co2 cartridges, for a fiver you really can't moan. I know the multi tools a huge pile of poop but it may come in useful until I get a decent one

Hahaha no problem, like you say a 5er and if it turns out to be good then bargain, I went for a gilet but no luck then saw these I though yes please, after a tough decision at the weekend bottle or tools, now I don't need to lol

Tyre levers are what they are bought the tool bag when offer came up before, used tyre levers on a puncture snapped the 2, bought a set of 4 fibre glass ones from halfords for £5, the tools will get you out of a pickle in an emergency i suppose,

I think if you go in expecting diamonds for a fiver then obviously people will be upset but as you say in an emergency I am sure they'll be the best thing since sliced bread

Yes you are right, i was unlucky to be 20 miles from home when i had my second puncture, my aldi,s pump failed aswel, you get what you pay for,

I had a look at this Tool bag this morning while I was doing a bit of food shopping at Aldi. The bag is of a decent quality and I was surprised to find some tools inside it. The allen keys look ok but the spanners are a bit naff. All told, a bargain for a fiver in my opinion

I've bought several of these in the past just for the bag, which I've found quite decent, and worth the money. Tools were always a bit flaky I found.

Yep I have some other crappy tyre levers that came in a puncture repair kit from Decathlon, 3 are ideal so I have 4 now, like you say they will probably all snap!
