ALDI.
Bit of a specialist deal, if you have diabetes and tried other socks and not been impressed, try these, they are the best yet (including some which were £5 a pair), comfortable and they stay up, you don't end the day with loose sock in your shoes after a short walk and they are only a pound a pair!.
Just men's socks, obviously women are not diabetics - come on Aldi !
They come in 2 sizes 4 to 8 and 9 to 11, they are also in blue, brown and assorted colours, having tried my first pairs I went back and bought another 6 packs, may even get more but they ran out of my size at Aldi St Georges, Telford, sorry guys. (Will be raiding other Aldi's as I travel about).

A bit like the new reduced sugar version of lucozade.

They taste awful! Disgusting yet another company trying to make money from people with a serious illness, I find Cadbury socks are the best.
Prefer the Socks Zero version
You can get these for £1:25 in £ shops

Funny but insensitive

I think you'll find a diabetic's feet are sensitive, not insensitive.
Sweet Deal or should it be SWEAT!!!

If you or your family ever are diabetic(which I wish not to be)....then you know what I was referring too
I haven't got diabetes, just extensive arthritis and need thin loose socks with a slack top so I can get my shoes on at all (and even that is only with the help of an aid), so normally buy this type.

I saw them on the website, but they looked a bit thick, more like sports socks - has anyone bought them yet to confirm?

Used to be, until Kraft bought them and messed it up!

I thought humour was supposed to be funny. Confused.

Being thoughtful how awful, how dare they belong in this world.

They are not that thick, certainly not sports sock thickness
Since being diagnosed with diabetes a year or so ago, I've found my sense of humour has stayed broadly the same as when I was not a diabetic. However, this is not a scientific claim, merely my experience.
What are 'Diabetic Friendly Socks' ? - serious question.

Are they just the same as 'Soft top' socks which don't cut into the leg ?

Thanks
They're socks that don't stay up. I buy socks from the charity shop that have been worn in - or out - with the same effect.

They stay up and don't leave marks on your legs, feel very comfortable and come up to mid calf level
