educe condensation. It's small and the rate of collection won't suit everyone but it will help in small rooms.

Helps prevent mildew and damp, whilst ensuring rooms are dry and cosy.

Removes up to 400ml moisture per day
Tank capacity 1.5 litres with auto switch off when full
Choose from: Black or White
Size: 34 x 20.5 x 13cm

Oh I need one of these

That's not a lot of dehumidifying, I think this may be suited to something like a caravan maybe. But good price so maybe two at opposite ends of the house would do an adequate job for 'mild' dampness (and probably better than one big ol' unit cluttering the place)

These are very noisy, so be warned if you plan on running them in a bedroom or similar overnight to reduce window condensation.

Thanks Pat, was going to get one but I give it a miss if noisy.

They're not too noisy. About as ️noisy as having a fan on in the summer...

its literally the sound of the fan inside that's noisy. I'd doubt if you could have a silent dehumidifier.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago, and agree, it is pretty noisy, not much good for the bedroom.

Agreed

I know it's cheap but if you really do need or want one of these it's much better to spend a good amount on one.

400ml per day is miniscule. Plus these calculations are usually worked out at room temperature of 30°C .

it's cheap for a dehumidifier even if it's a small capacity one. I have two, much stronger dehumidifiers and they pay for themselves in reducing damp and condensation. modern houses are too well sealed to naturally ventilate properly.

Anyone found any anywhere else?

£29.99 at Oldham branch :-(

Probably ok for a small area and good value. However, if you have a general problem with condensation get something larger.

But, of course it will cost a lot more.

Reductions at Aldi are at managers discretion. Wont be nationwide.

you should have trickle vents in the top of the window frames, if not they are easy and cheap to install and solves the problem rather than dealing with the symptons.

we lived in a brand spanking new house and dried all our clothes indoors and had no issues.

get an anti condensation unit fitted into your loft space if you have a loft. when I moved to my house the first winter you could see water trickling down the walls being an end of terrace and no cavity wall. This made an almost instant difference. now we only have condensation in one small bedroom occupied by two boys.

Also £29.99 in Widnes branch.

has anyone else other than the OP found this deal? Wondering whether to even bother mooching to my 'local' tomorrow.

only have it on when in house. does what it needs to do. cannot complain. Deffo would not have on while asleep. but for what I spent on it clear bargain

I bought one of these last year for a very small room, it extracted a tiny amount after 6 hours, then packed in altogether - it was no noisy than an average laptop fan.

My latest desiccant dehumidifier extracts 400ml in around an hour and a half, worth the extra and you can move it from room to room, dehumidifying a whole house quicker than this variety manages in a single room.

mike

Mike - so which dehumidifier did you buy ?

Anyone found this in London yet, at this price please?

Visited Sutton-in-Ashfield branch and still £29.99

Hi mike. I'm interested in what make model of desiccant unit you have and would you recommend? Cheers. Terry

Heat added. We have one of these running on a timer for a couple of hours in the morning and evening in our bedroom. It has reduced the moisture level enough to prevent condensation on the windows.

Be interest
