Great price, shame they haven't got any singles for our daughter's bed at the moment she has a feather and down duvet instead. We've got one of these ourselves and they do make a difference even on already comfy bed

These look really good. Will have to get to Aldi on Thursday.
Thanks

even a single would normally cost more than this - I would get a double and just wrap it around the mattress SJ

They've also got a twin pack of goose feather and down pillows for £8.99.
Is that a good price?

I agree may get one, or two, saves having a £70 duvet as on it now. Ours are really puffy and thick, so is the duvet, Are Aldi's covers puffy? I know we paid a fortune for ours but has definitely been worth it

Ooooh I gotta get one! Better get my skis on a head down to Aldi's

Looks Great, I will pop to my local to see if they have any left

No singles?

I really like my topper, but it was more than 3 times the price of this deal.

The one in the photo looks really thin to me, I'd say it needs to be at least 2 to 3 inches thick to make a big difference.

I think duvets and toppers are constructed with different grades of feathers. Duvets are light with a lot of loft and crush down to almost nothing, toppers are more heavy and solid and will retain some thickness when crushed.

Don't forget the animal cruelty involved in these....the poor geese are plucked alive 4 times a year before being killed for meat. Insane cruelty that not many people are aware of...if you ARE aware of it and chose to ignore it then that is down to your personal choice I will not judge you for it. This post is just for those unaware of this barbaric practice.

has anybody bought one? if yes what do you think of it?

Just got a topper and 2 pairs of pillows. Great deal thanks

I have bought one previously, I have to say it was not very good quality.

There are also single memory foam toppers. Can't remember the price but it seemed very reasonable.

Just got 2 pillows and topper, quality.

I was about to go and buy Aldi's goose down & feather duvet today, but first I thought I'd check the web to see if there were better prices out there. Then I found mafiafarm01's link (above).
It's stopped me in my tracks.
This report:
CBS Channel 5 news
gives the low-down (as it were) on down.
Personally, after watching that, I don't think I could ever buy feather/down products again. Have a look and decide for yourself.

ha, greenpeace. Loving my 100% goose down duvet.
