Good price !
I saw the deal instore - myself and another shopper suddenly realised there were two cards in the pack, and we both recalled the ad online seeing one card, so we both grabbed this pretty quick.
Medion - so not mega branded - but none the less - good value, I have a Medion card on my camera and it performs fine.:)

Class 10

good for class 10 32GB
Seen decent brand 64GB cards for same price, suspect you can get 2 32GB cards from a decent brand for similar price too.

Thing is.... about Aldi deals - as I have always known - yes - there are other, equally cheap, possibly branded stuff that matches or even beats the prices, but then you have to add the postage, hassle if it goes wrong, etc etc, so its swings and roundabouts - where I just go into the store, buy, most of the time with that 3 year warranty, and thats it.
If its garbage, which sometimes it is, zip it back, full refund, no faffing about, I do shop online a lot but I also like going into a shop, dealing with humans, with pretty much instant reaction.

checked there unless u count non branded stuff from China nothing is available for 6.50 for 32GB class 10, u can get 64GB around 11 Quid but that's a different story all together
Thanks for the links

You can't apply that logic to this deal, in my opinion. You wouldn't buy two cards to put in one device. You would buy a Micro SD double pack to put in two separate devices so although the 'maths' makes sense, the practicalities don't.

Whether these cards are any good or not, is a different question entirely!
It's a great find, honestly 95% of this regardless of brand They are fakes when bought on line Even on Amazon or ebay! Good thing is that buying from shop, you have a year to play about with it & if any hick ups then take it back to the shop..

I'd say online is less hassle - for one (and this is pretty important) you don't lose the receipt like you do with Aldi!

Hmm ....well I have hassle with both, with Aldi at least I could go in and state my case, (no one hears you if you stamp yer feet online) and it was sorted - I lost money online recently with a seller on Amazon - so in my case its - live shop 1, online 0.
But its horses and courses - I know it just depends on so many aspects - I keep all my receipts in a big shoe box, now where is that Doc Martens box come to think of it......:D
64gb ccl eBay deal is cheaper.

Any flash card/USB drive sold on eBay or Amazon Marketplace by anyone that's not a recognised national/big name seller should always be considered to be fake.

Why not? I have devices with dual card slots here that could use both of the cards in this deal at the same time....

Exactly! And not everyone wants a 64GB. I wanted some for tablets I got some relatives for xmas and they use up to 32GB cards only so a 64 would be no good for me. Can't believe people are picking holes in this deal!

Congratulations. I was replying to the poster who was saying that he/she could buy a 64gb card for the same price. My reply was pointing out that the majority of people who pick this up are going to be splitting the total of 64gb across two devices, which makes the original comparison moot.
Someone explain to me why this is a good deal?

1x32gbs Samsung/Sandisk variant is ~£7
1x64gbs Samsung/Sandisk variant is ~£14.
Which includes warranty, xray/shockproof/waterproof blah blah blah.

The data you store imo is probably worth more than the ~£2 savings from an mediocre brand. Well, at least my data which I store on it is worth more than the £2 difference vs risk..

PS I had a Medion laptop as a student, was great for what it was- budget throw away laptop.

The biggest fake product item listed on ebay are sd cards .A cheap 64 card on there invariably is a fake with about 8gb if you are lucky.

2 quid saving not worth it? You must be new to HUKD, we once broke the internet for three pence off a Gregg's 14.99 cup cake! Ha ha ha.

You are right dude, better brand, better make and better warranty. If you make a return to San disk they sent you the next model up as a replacement!

It's not exactly expensive to send an SD card back to amazon even though if it was faulty, surely you'd get your postage back?
Got the 64gb for £10 from argos, so not blazing hot.. Still OK value wise..
Lots of fake cards out there, Ebay is especially bad, as is AliExpress; but even Amazon serves them up. I've got a fake 32GB Samsung Evo microSD sat in front of me, bought 6 months ago from a top rated Amazon trader; I lost a lot of photos and video clips of my baby daughter with this card. :-(

One of the more recent cop-outs by sellers is to headline 32/64/128/256GB, but in tiny print buried in the description it says they may be of a smaller capacity; that means no refund for you, even if you do test it on arrival.

It might take forever, but EVERY card I buy now gets tested with h2testw.exe before use.
Fair deal, but honestly not worth anything like 800+ degrees of excitement. So I'm fighting the fire.

I actually thought that this coming Thursday's Aldi (unlocked) dual-sim 4g Android Lollipop phone (with 3 year warranty, sd card slot, etc) was a pretty good deal ... but it seems to have ended up about 1000 degrees lower than this. Heigh-ho!

The problem with these rebadged Chinese phones is finding out what 4G channels they work with; most of them dont cover 800MHz, so wont work with o2/GiffGaff, and they usually only cover 1 or 2 of the channels the other players in the UK use, so 4G performance can be spotty.

I run a Xiaomi Note 3G, even though the 4G version was the same price precisely because of the 4G issues with o2/GiffGaff.

No problem with this one!

Aldi post a link to their downloadable manual for the phone.
Page 61 (Specs) says "LTE Cat4 800/1800/2600 MHz" and also lists the GSM and UMTS bands it uses.
Yeah, this deal is getting far more heat than it deserves. This is pretty much an average price in todays market, although it gets credit for being a supermarket.
thanks op, heat added
