Just bought similar (large 24 ltr) from ebay for £42.95 delivered complete with leads for home and car but the one I bought can be used to cool or heat.
Item no 201344465692
Had been looking for a while after an old one needed to be replaced.
Sorry but cold for just a cooler (excuse the pun)

something cold from aldi never seen that before

Interesting item.

Reheating foodWhen reheating food it should steaming hot all the way … Reheating foodWhen reheating food it should steaming hot all the way through or reach a temperature of 70°C for more than 2 minutes. Food should only be reheated once and any leftovers should be discarded

Its mainly used for keeping meds cool when out and about.
Re..reheating food?
I don't use it for reheating food.
It's for keeping hot food food warm/hot eg when collecting warm takeaways and keeping it to a hot enough level to get home without having to reheat once there not reheating food after it has cooled.
In 20 years of using these excellent devices (used 2 first one had a damaged plug and couldn't repair connection so bought the £42.95 one from ebay) never had a problem when used correctly.
Suggest if you use them correctly too you wouldn't have a problem either!

So yeah, good for the hillbilly types living in the **** end of nowhere that need to transport food. I suspect though that most on here would go into Tesco and buy a chilled pie and expect this to heat it to an acceptable level when they're out on a camping trip/at the beach etc.

So you're saying people on here are thick and people who live in cities who can't get their takeaways home quickly are hillbilles?

I didn't say that, you did. I do agree with your summation to a certain extent though. Live in a city, hey we deliver to your door.......

A Cold Vote For A Cool Product, Shame As These Are Good Value..

Why would anyone vote a cool box down because it doesn't heat!

Having looked into cool boxes recently, thinking I needed to buy one, it was evident that the models that heated as well as cooled tended to be very inefficient and had more reviews commenting on loud operation and poor cooling.

I can't speak for the Aldi box; but it claims A+++ efficiency so may do it's job of keeping things cool very well.

Found the(hot/cold) box to be quiet even inside the car and inaudible with the radio on or in its usual place in the boot.
The coolbox has been voted cold because of the high cost of just getting a cool box when you can get added functionality for a couple of quid more at the time the original thread was posted.
However if you look on my latest posted deal the same hot/cool box which was only a couple of quid more when this thread was started by the OP is now available for under £30.00 making the cool box in this thread even colder.
A great hot/cool box for Shengis' "hillbilles" or city slickers alike

This is actually made by Waeco. I've used Waeco boxes extensively in Australia and New Zealand and expect this will be similarly good.

Bought a heated seat kit from a Waeco many years ago to add heated seats to the front and rear seats to a car I owned at the time..
Great hardwired kit with switches/relays/seat and backrest pads.
