Aldi free range turkey crowns half price in Norwich Sprowston store

LocalFound 23rd Dec 2017
The super expensive turkey crowns in boxes have already been reduced as they’re worried they wouldn’t sell in time. These were approx £50-60, so now £25-30.

Plenty on the shelves.

My missus is going mad trying to find the receipt so she can take ours back and buy it back at half price . Told her I don't think you can do that with perishable goods, but she's a like a woman possessed since I told her about this thread! LOL

For the past few years we've been going to our local Aldi on Christmas Eve, and there has always been bargains to be had on turkeys, and other Christmas food items.

I thought Aldi werent reducing xmas food this year and instead were donating it all to homeless charities on xmas eve?

I've had that the last couple of years, spotted on here that Aldi/Tesco/Morrisons et al, have reduced all their Christmas stuff and nipped down (most only 10 minutes max from home) and find nothing on offer whatsoever ... Struck lucky tonight as youngest daughter wanted to get something for N & Grandad and as we went through the door they were reducing the flowers, lovely premium bunches, should be £20 down to £7 - lets just say Nan's going to be happy as she loves flowers!

You can try and return perishables if you're unhappy with the quality for a refund. They will refund it (I expect) but they wouldn't be allowed to sell it to you once that refund has taken place as they would need to destroy the item.

30% off the Norfolk Bronze boxed turkeys for me, they're the only boxed ones ... only ones reduced! (as at 1 hr ago)
Portishead Aldi turkeys are 1/2 price. Anything dated between today and 27th is also 1/2 price.
grimsby one at cleethorpe road around 2 hours ago had all the turkeys inc boxed deluxe crowns ,some lamb shoulders couple easy carve ducks ,sirloin beef joints and large legs pork 50% off also prepped chilled veg basa filllets, salmon ,fish platters, xmas tree cheeescake festive tiffin all 50% off, meat dated 26th though 29th, desserts dated 26th and 27th fish dated 25th and 26th assistant as going round reducing anything dated up to 29th dec
Looks like you just need to ask nicely and they'll reduce. Just got the Exquisite bronze mentioned here for £27 for a 3.6kg turkey crown. I expect the stores with lower stock are just doing the 30% on some range whereas those with loads left are knocking 50% off early to get stock down and save on too much stress tomorrow morning.

I went to my local Aldi to pick up a fresh turkey around 7.20 pm - apart from the really expensive and extremely large turkeys, there were no smaller ones (to serve 6-8 people) left at all. The ones that were on display were not marked down by 30% either. I popped next door to Iceland and had no luck at all there - couldn't believe how many of the freezer displays were totally empty of Christmas food (not even one frozen turkey). I then thought I'd drive to Sainsburys - all that was left on the shelves were two extra small turkeys, one small turkey and then really large and expensive turkeys (some selling for around £65!). I picked up the small turkey for around £15 - there were no price reductions. Just so glad I did not wait until tomorrow as I doubt I would have got a suitable one at all. Last year I picked up one in Aldi just before closing time, hugely discounted in price.
